If I was stuck on a deserted island and could only take one movie with me what movie would that be?
Easy.
Boogie Nights.
This film has everything you could want in a movie: comedy, drama, action, sex, memorable characters, great music, great cinematography, great storyline, and wonderful writing. Some might add a giant prosthetic penis but whatever floats your boat.
What more could you want from a movie?

@bluepillorredpill - as a joke, one year in college I would do the Dirk Diggler pre-shoot speech in my room if my roommate was there
@HoursProductions - all the videos were at First Avenue in Minneapolis. I have so many great memories of that place. That band, The Umbrella Sequence, I went to high school with two of the guys, the lead singer and the lead guitarist. A lot of that DVD was filmed at their First Ave performances and I would go see them every time they played in the Cities
@adamswomanlost - It's such a great movie. The director is so talented. Paul Thmoas Anderson also directed Magnolia and There Will Be Blood and Punch Drunk Love.
@Shining_Garnet - A lot of people knock it because it's centered around the porn industry but it is an intriguing story plus somewhat biographical. You should watch it sometime but it might not be one to watch with the family.
@my_little_niche - Paul Thomas Anderson is a great director. I love the shots and camera work in Boogie Nights. It definitely is in my top ten movies and if I was stuck on a deserted island it has so many features that would keep me entertained.
Yeah, that movie is cool!
