  • Tattoo Thursday 2/16

    Well here it is, another round of tattoos.  Not all are terrible this week so I didn’t include it in the title but I assure you, there are some awful tattoos here.

    Skrillex?  Really?  I edited this because the guy who owns that tattoo found it here and sent me hate mail.  Wow.

    Wisconsin’s favorite serial killer.  I was going to say second favorite but then Ed Gein was not a typical serial killer.  He was just a deranged individual.

    Who knew Jeffrey Dahmer tattoos were a thing?  The subject matter here is awful but I have to hand it to the artist for turning out a great piece of art.

    This is Leviticus 18:22 and in the King James and not in this tattoo it says: “You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman: it is abomination.”  So to that I reply, “Oh yeah?  Leviticus 19:28!”

    Exactly!  Wait.

    The Apostle Paul is displeased.

    Why such a serious tattoo?

    This guy should Cry Cry Cry because of that Johnny Cash tattoo…yikes.

    “It’s a topsy-turvy world, and maybe the problems of two people don’t amount to a hill of beans. But this is our hill. And these are our beans!”  I love The Naked Gun but a Leslie Nielsen tattoo?

    You know I haven’t seen much of Seth Rogen in a few months so I wonder if this guy regrets his tattoo decision.

    Isn’t that taken out of Leviticus?

    I found this on Tumblr while trying to prove a point.  I have asserted that one can find a tattoo of anything.  I was challenged to find a Little House on the Prairie tattoo.  This is the closest I could find.  It’s a portrait of Michael Landon in his trademark Charles Ingalls get up on Little House on the Prairie.  I don’t know who the person is but I’m sure some of the young folks could point me in the right direction.

    I think this may be my favorite Wisconsin tattoo.  Why don’t you tell me how this is a Wisconsin tattoo.

    Justin Veron, frontman of Bon Iver, has Wisconsin tattooed on his chest with the words “I said remember this as how it should be.”  And being the nerd I am I know those are 6 Northern counties in this state…Dunn, Barron, Rusk, Taylor, Chippewa, and Eau Claire.

    Oh I’m prospering all right.

    I like America too but…come on

    This may be the Gore-iest tattoo I’ve ever seen and it has Manbearpig…MANBEARPIG!

    And because Kurt Cobain’s birthday is approaching…

    I hope you enjoyed.

  • OMG Star Trek boobies? She will be the most popular chic at the Con for sure!

  • That’s the sexiest vulcan pair of breasts I have ever laid eyes on!

  • i do not understand the need to put someone’s face on your body. yup.  that’s all i have to say about that.  oh. and now i feel like watching little house on the prairie

  • Maybe they just don’t like anal sex?  refering to the laying with a man and woman tattoo.  i know there’s something in the bible about not getting tattoos but i’m always fuzzy on my bible stuff these days.  guess im a heathen.

  • On “Hawaii 5-0″ Alex O’loughlin has big tattoos on both arms but I haven’t been able to get a good enough look at them to see what they are. Do you have a “who’s who in tattoo” source?

  • What sort of unique individual would get a serial killer tattoo. Not one I wish to meet. Eep.

  • OMg this was just too much!!!! shocking!

  • Not really a tattoo type of guy.

  • Kurt <3

    i like the second one of him.. that one’s pretty good

  • Way to make Amurrca look like a great place with that god-awful face tattoo.

    The Seth Rogen tattoo is pretty realistic-looking. That artist was pretty good.

  • wow.  yep.  just wow…

  • wow… little house on the prarie.

  • Its funny… if Jeffrey Dahmer had the chance, he’d cut that guys arm off and eat himself.

  • hahaha love the 3rd “leviticus” one :P

    also that tattoo of seth rogan is some amazing art but why the hell would you want seth rogan tattoed on yourself?!

  • mr. t jesus. hahahahahaha

  • Do you really want me to tell you?  Cuz I’m pretty sure that’s the design from the license plate.  I know this very well because that’s the license plate I’m always either passing or cursing at because there are two of them driving exactly next to each other, five miles under the speed limit, and not letting anyone pass.  Seriously, you guys do that way too much ;)

    Is that Seth Rogan tattoo real or Photoshopped?  If that’s real, that’s probably the best (artistically accurate, I mean) tattoo I have ever seen.  Holy crap.

  • @BoulderChristina - I wonder if she was a fan or if it was a boyfriend

    @Aloysius_son - That tattoo makes my hands want to Romulan all over her Vulcan breasts

    @promisesunshine - I’ve been making my way through the dvds and I’ve kept tabs on how many times they mention the town where I went to college…8 times so far.

    @whyzat - I found a celebrity tattoo database but it didn’t have much on his tattoos.  it was like a copy and paste from his wikipedia page.  But here’s some more I found.

    @James2012 - thank you

    @leaflesstree - I wouldn’t take anything they offered me for food or drink otherwise considering they are Dahmer fans I’d probably end up as their food and drink

    @anth0nyc - glad you enjoyed

    @crashthedr3am - yeah and these aren’t the worst I’ve posted, some of the NSFW editions now those were awful

    @TheTheologiansCafe - I don’t get the appeal.  I often wonder if people think about what the tattoos will look like in 10 to 20 years.

    @Peridot21 - the first one really sucks but what saves it is the In Utero cover work.

    @Cestovatelka - yeah the Rogen tattoo is good but I want to know…WHY?  I could see if maybe Seth Rogen got that tattoo but why would anyone else get it?

    @xplorrn - yep

    @hesacontradiction - I was shocked when I found that

    @roscoes_farm - I don’t know, Dahmer preferred the dark meat

    @raspberryjade - exactly…why Seth Rogen?  I mean there are plenty of people out there that I’d consider funnier than him.  Oh and you should totally look up that passage.

    @dooE - does he pity the sinner?

    @ithiliya - I like driving slower because I enjoy my surroundings.  Life’s too short to go speeding about and risk the chance of missing something.  Why put extra stress on yourself?
    Yeah it’s good artwork but why him?

    @Shining_Garnet - yeah I thought that one was hilarious

  • mentioned the town where you went to college… now, that is perplexing.  can’t be walnut grove. hmmmm….

  • Thanks for looking up Alex’s tats. Funny there isn’t an interview with him somewhere in which he tells about them. I’ve looked a little. Oh well. When I go to Hawaii this fall, I’ll stop into the studio and ask him about them!!

  • @promisesunshine - it is actually between Sleepy Eye and Mankato.  I think it didn’t get mentioned in the book series other than if they interacted with Native Americans because there was a huge battle and the town got burned down by the Native Americans.  Of course it was provoked when one of the agency people told the tribe that if they were hungry they could always eat grass.  I think he said that in December.  Anyway the town was started by German separatists that only wanted Germans in town and who didn’t want religion in the town borders.  They actually ended up allowing two churches, Lutheran and Catholic, but for years those were the only two churches.

  • @whyzat - I was going to say you should ask him.  Most of the collections were lame.  Maybe I should work on compiling something.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - moving west for religious freedom.  thanks for the info.  i couldn’t think of the nearby towns this morning. (well, not mankato and i thought i made up sleepy eye)

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - I wondered the same thing, but it’s impressive work nonetheless… so much so that I would argue that it’s Photoshopped, because if it’s not… well, damn!

    Sight-seeing while driving is more dangerous than speeding.  ;)

  • @Nickoris Ree@facebook - well thank you, Mr. Young Folk, it’s greatly appreciated.  Did Mr. Atha ever explain the Charles Ingalls tattoo?

  • imagine that.. someone sending you hate mail for making snot remarks about their ink.

    wow,   learning curve’s a bit flat, isn’t it pal?

    lesson learned?    guess not.           (what other stupid crap do you get yourself into when you’re not thinking?)
