#caturday after the Badgers lost I drowned my sorrows not in alcohol but in Chinese food. It was a rather interesting experience. I had all the wait staff speaking in Chinese then at one table near me there were four old people. One of them had a distinct British accent, one had a German accent, one had a Southern accent and the other spoke Wisconics. Then another table had people who were speaking Spanish. Then another table had three guys that had to all be over 7 feet tall. And then as I was leaving a family speaking Arabic sat down. Who knew a little rural area could be so diverse? I came home and watched Role Models and Something Something Dark Side. And now it's time for cat pics.
I hope everybody is having a great weekend.

i love diversity. it made living in New York city for over 35 years worth it. that and the Yankees and the Giants' 4 Superbowl wins. baseball and football. that's diversity right there.
i love the kitten at the little computer.
i'm having a sad weekend because one of our most beloved friends is struggling tremendously with a serious health issue. i miss her biting posts and sharp comments.
Kiki does not look amused having her picture taken.
I love caturday! I am glad people quit rating it X.(They must have been dog lovers)
The patrons Asian restaurants in my area are almost always yellow-ish.
An interesting question, methinks, is how different establishments tailor their menu and dish preparation for their expected customers.
Your cats don't seem to be impressed!
sesame balls? they are rather tragically named for male consumption but rather tasty. I wonder if kitty rolling in the loot able to shoot is a zevon listener...and thus a lawyer.
Actually … I've just had another look, and you're right.
@Celestial_Teapot - Please stop spamming my friends. We're not interested in your sneakers!!
You too, and I'm glad Lua is feeling so much better.
P.s. isn't your area near the Witness Protection program?
fun stuff!! i was worried when you started with a pooch. ;) my favs are the kitty computer and the monkey. have a good week.
@TheSutraDude - yes. i wish she wasn't having such a bad time too.
GO JETS!!!!
I loved the little kitty sitting at the computer :) Hope you're doing well.
Cool stuff.
I kinda didn't get the "organ grinder" one. Hmmm...
Your cats are so cute X3
sad badgers lost. madison is crazy diverse, so if you're near there, it doesn't surprise me.
this is so cute!!!
No more Caturday, it's already Tuesday here in Malaysia right now :( :(
Some smart kitties thar.
Watched the Packers game? Wow, did they suck. I was kinda shocked. I didn't think SF was that good.:/
@TheSutraDude - The town where I attended college was the opposite of diverse. The make-up could be best described as those from German descent and those who were not. I think the town was about 90% Germanic and fitting since they had a statue saluting a famous German leader who held off the Romans and also the college was named after a German. And I shit you not, my time there there was only 1...yes 1...black guy in the entire town, population 14,000.
@Rob_of_the_Sky - I'm fairly certain I took that after she woke up and came running to get a treat and a head scratch.
@BoulderChristina - Yeah I don't get that, I think it was because I disagreed with someone and rating sites EX is their modus operandi when someone disagrees with them. You can always give me an A
@Celestial_Teapot - Well I think this place accommodates for their Wisconsin customers because of all the fried food and food that involves cheese, my favorite being what their label says is "Cheddie Munchars". They're tater tots with cheese inside.
@Relic47 - I actually think they were waiting for me to give them some treats that night. I also think it was hot so they weren't happy that I didn't have the air conditioning turned on
@starmanjones - well this place didn't have sesame balls but they had Cheddie Munchars and peanut butter chicken...my gosh that is the best thing ever.
@sleekpunk - I've never heard of Witness Protection around here but it could be, it would be the one thing that explains it all. Lua was spitting up hairballs last night so she wasn't so good last night but after I held her and gave her some hairball medicine she seemed fine. She's sleeping next to me right now.
@promisesunshine - glad you enjoyed, I think the dog fit with the quote
@Aloysius_son - YAY 49ers!
@xdeelynnx - I'm ok today, took a while to get on track I guess...glad you enjoyed
@James2012 - glad you liked
@Unstoppable_Inner_Strength - glad you enjoyed, as for the organ grinder, I think I'll have to let wikipedia explain it best. I guess what Churchill is saying there is never make negotiations with someone when the person controlling them is also there.
@leaflesstree - I could go for some of those fried wontons filled with cream cheese
@emily_shannon - yeah they can be cute but today they were evil, one of them knocked over a bunch of my cds and another shredded up roll of toilet paper. Did I mention the time Lua knocked over a bottle of cologne and then bathed in it?
@whisperitloudly - yeah it's pretty interesting driving around Madison these days looking at all the different buildings. I took my dad to a hospital down by the capitol and this road had so many different ethnic businesses. I ended up doing grocery shopping at an Asian and Hispanic market, a Korean market, and a Mexican market. It was pretty awesome and then I ate lunch at an Indian restaurant.
@under_the_carpet - glad you enjoyed the wisdom of Winston Churchill
@RestlessButterfly - Well well well I actually posted this on caturday so it looks like this week you are late
@StrawberrySunrises - Oh they were awful, they looked like the Badgers, it was a horrible weekend of football for this state but I think we got used to last season when both teams had such big victories and we started calling ourselves Winsconsin
@ahmd1430 - You probably shouldn't spam my page or anyone's for that matter. We don't like that shit and we won't take your message seriously if you continue this behavior and especially not considering the timing.
@godfatherofgreenbay - so you lean a little thai do you? get a rope :D
that does sound awesome! my sisters used to live in a luxury condo 2 blocks from the capital, so we did lots of downtown stuff any time i was there.
@ahmd1430 - OK Chuckles I warned you
