Cloud Cult is one of my favorite bands out of Minnesota.  They are truly unique.  Today I received an update email from the band to announce a fall tour.  Too bad they aren't coming near me, mostly in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin and the East Coast.  Cloud Cult reassured me that if I miss them this tour I will be able to catch up this spring when they do a nationwide tour promoting the release of their new DVD.  They also said that their music has been featured in some MTV shows as well as Gossip Girl.  I think the coolest thing in this email was a piece that they were featured in on the Weather Channel.  Cloud Cult and their record label Earthology Records are trying to get the music industry to go green.  You can view the video here.  If you want to hear their music, I have some posted in my audio blog.
