  • Halloween Round Up

    I was supposed to do this post earlier in the evening however some things have come up.  Apparently it's not healthy to piss blood.  Also my cat, that I photographed next to my cleat, hurt herself last night.  I have no clue when it happened but I have a feeling I no what caused it.  I was settling down at 2am and she came limping into the room.  She was heavily favoring her front paw.  I went to grab her but she ran away.  About an hour later she came next to me and I pretend to be asleep and she jumps on my.  I grab her and see her paw is covered in blood and not the normal pink color on the pad but a purple color.  I am freaking out because whenever I touch it she cries in pain.  Well I let her go and call the vet in the morning.  She was booked up but she wound up calling me and I took Kiki out.  She partially tore one of her claws but nothing was broken.  The vet gave her antibiotic ointment and then a shot of pain medicine.  Kiki has been doped up all night.  Nothing quite like a cat on pain meds.  Then I got a phone call from a friend that I was thinking I would have to get a court order to have him return my messages.  The cat is hiding under one of my chairs but she lets me pet her and feed her.  Oh I am a softy when it comes to my pets' health.
