  • ... and once again, I'm entertained (maybe too much so) and kept busy for at least another two hours. No complaints here. :)

  • @whatkerisaid -

Well thank you. I am happy that you are entertained. I have thought that these are too long but then if I split them up and entered them when I find them, I think people would miss out.

  • Great links! Loved the pointlessly complicated heists.

I too loved Bush' farewell speech, not that I listened to a word of it. I love the fact that it was his farewell speech. I think however, it should have been given from the dock in the World Court at the Hague. THAT, i would have listened to, and recorded for repeated playbacks.

  • Thanks for keeping me entertained.

  • I feel for you, it's 57 degrees here and I feel like I'm this close to falling into the grips of hypothermia. I know now I need to stay away from the North...

  • @MelFamy -

I have read somewhere that if certain members of the Bush administration step outside of our country now that his term is over, they can be tried at the Hague for crimes against humanity. That must explain why Rumsfeld has disappeared off the face of the earth. Hopefully Cheney will go with him. The best line last night was how Bush said he was a champion of civil rights and democracy.

  • As predicted, my car failed to start last night.

I ended up owing my boss a cop of coffee for coming to my rescue :)

I'll be interested to know why Child Services took away the Nazi kids.  I'm hoping they have another reason, besides the stupid names.

It's actually not that bad up here. This is like the worst it has been in 10 years. We usually get a streak of cold weather during the winter but not this low. 57 would be t-shirt weather for me right about now.

  • @ithiliya -

I know it wasn't because of their names but I am thinking that with the drawn attention from the recent cake spat those kids were probably put to a high priority on a watch list.

  • I didn't have time for all your links, but I couldn't believe how "right on" the video was of the 14 signs of Fascism and the Bush regime colollaries.  Wow.

While I applaus the exit of neocons, I still have fear.  9/11 was not about "evil" people doing bad things because we are "good" people.  It was, imo, because of our arrogance and beligerance.  Although Bush is leaving, we are even more arrogant and more beligerant than we were on Sept 10.  Just look at our policy towards the Middle East.  We are inviting and courting the same type of disaster that we were before Iraq and Afghanistan.  Yet the next payback will be under Obama's watch.  Not necessarily because of Obama, just like 9/11 was the result of years of arrogance and beligerance and not just because of Bush.  And if there is another incident against us under Obama, the neocons will say it was because Bush was so tough and Obama is a threat to our country.

    Mark my words.

I have that feeling too. I have this feeling that we'll have some sort of attack and people will deify Bush and then all hell will break loose in this country. I didn't see it in the 2000 election but in the aftermath and in 2004 and 2008, our country is splitting apart and is no longer "united". Also you'll get the ignorant, closeted racists who will say, "See I told you with a name like Hussein, he couldn't be trusted."
