Motivation
Sorry I haven't had much to say as of late. I have had some life issues pop up that I needed to deal with. I had one of the strangest morning wake ups ever this morning. Both my cats were standing on my chest looking into my face and crying. They tipped over their water dish and they couldn't go to the water faucet and get fresh. I guess not having thumbs sucks. Hmmm...I never did ask the grade school lunch lady how she functioned without thumbs but maybe I should have. After I filled up the water dish I thought about going to sleep but I started to smell gas. I opened the basement door and it hit me. I called the Power and Light and they said my exhaust vent had ice build up on the opening so it wasn't escaping. Thank god I had no gas leaks. It's bad enough having a gas leak in my body and I wouldn't want to have one in my house. Then I had some work I had to take care of and also if you didn't know I volunteer my time at my church and teach an after-school Bible study for kids. Well I completely blanked out and had to do that planning. After the class, I had a long talk with the pastor about life in general. He wants me to get back in the ministry but I don't know. Anyway I got home and crashed. I fell asleep on the floor and woke up with American Idol on the screen and some horrible screaching. I am sad I didn't get to read everyone's posts but if you had some mind-altering or earth shattering post that I need to read, let me know. Time for some motivation.
I needed the motivation to do two extra posts this week. One will be about school nicknames and mascots because I was reliving my glorydays of coaching and remembered a school we played against with the lamest mascot and then I also had a great conversation with a fellow Xangan about that topic. The other entry is going to be about the two songs that play in my head every morning on a rotating basis. Well I think I am off to bed or to continue reading books on my banned book list. I'll have to update that as well. Later.

enjoyed this!

Thank you!
Bush probably did think that when he was leaving. I sure as hell would be. Can't pay me enough to deal with what he had to, or any other President for that matter.
I'm motivated and ready to tackle Geography. Pshhh.

Excellent! My motivational posts are paying off. Now I just need to start doing a motivational video blog while wearing horn-rim glasses and a suit coat 4 sizes too small all the while talking about living in a van down by the river. Oh...now I need to make another post about Chris Farley.
Did you see the inauguration? I think Bush got his last laugh when Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts screwed up the oath of office. I often wonder what sort of pension the presidents get once they leave office.
A Chris Farley post would rock!
I saw some of the inauguration. I was rushing to get to my first day of school (great scheduling for a liberal school, not ). But I mainly just heard cannons firing and shouted to my mom that we had a new president. Seeing as they had to keep re-doing it because the whole Bible thing, it's pretty hysterical. Covering all bases, I suppose.
I bet Bush will actually make more money Not being President than when I was. I mean, look at Cheney. Dude's rolling in dough, and did diddly-swat for this nation.
excellent pics, it's got to suck being Bush right now.
crippled mini hate?? ON FREAKING WHEELS!! lmfao wow
i agree about the bush bit he really does have a -you guys suck- kind of expression lol
bye-bye W!
Hell yeah it was a great conversation!
I hope you get all those issues worked out, bud!
And Joakim Noah can't help looking like an idiot...because he is an idiot...
You have two very good kitties.
Nut Sacks. Hilarious. The funniest one to me!!

I read somewhere that since Cheney has been vice president his stock options in Haliburton have went up 4000%...yes 4000. Whenever they showed Cheney or Bush at the inauguration they had these smug looks on their faces as if they were saying, "Good luck cleaning up our mess." That is the sense I get when I saw Bush later that night when they had a celebratory BBQ in his honor in Texas.
I keep saying this but I always put it off. When I do a Chris Farley post beforehand I need to get down to Madison to get some photos of his gravesite. A friend was telling me that it is sort of like Jim Morrison's grave but instead of graffiti people throw food on Farley's grave.
Interesting....looking forward to the next 2. I don't have as many subscriptions under this name, so I'll see them.

I have a feeling that Bush won't be going off into the sunset gracefully. He best not leave our borders otherwise he may be arrested for war crimes. I am thinking that when and if he writes his memoirs they will be a best seller.
@choralone -
Seeing that guy in the wheelchair is a mini hater you'd think because he is a minority because of his physical abilities he may be a little more tolerant...a little more!
I am also getting a vibe from that Bush photo and he is saying, "Gee I really did f things up." But the religious right will still blame every other person but him even though his staffers are now coming out and saying that when Bush was visited by Christian leaders after they left he would mock their beliefs and Christianity.
@jacksoncroons -
so do you miss him or do you have that breath of fresh air?
@MrsMok -
Sorry I didn't post a link to your Xanga when I mentioned our conversation, I was lazy. The good thing with my mom being a nurse for the past 30+ years is that they trust her to take things home and administer outside of the hospital. I reap those benefits. I don't have to sit in the hospital while getting an IV.
Noah...I hate that guy, I totally despise that freak. I never thought he was as good as what people made him out to be but ESPN shoved him down our throats and claimed he was a god of basketball but where is he now? The Chicago Bulls bench.
@methodElevated -
Yeah they are great. I have been thinking that they may have been warning me about the gas which blows my mind. The only time I don't care for them are when they decide to sharpen their claws in the carpet or try to climb on my entertainment center or crawl inside my printer but other than that they are great.
I love that Cloning and the Anal -Thank the Lord sign. They're great.
I'm sure you enjoy presenting you're different sides to people, so I'm wondering what you teach in the after-school Bible School?
(Sorry my Xanga broke so I've been out of commission for a while.)

I learned the hard way that you have to watch what you say around middle school aged children. One day I was lining the class up for recess and I had a bag of cashews on my desk and I forgot it. A student was standing in front of my desk so I said, "Could you please grab my nuts." LAUGHTER ENSUED! I played like I didn't know what was so funny but I was so embarrassed.
You lead quite the interesting life, haha. Nice pics too.

Great!

I love that Anal one because it reminds me of a coworker who swore up and down that all anal sex was sinful and god would send those people to Hell. I said nowhere in the bible did it say it was wrong between man and wife. He said because God condemned homosexuality that meant that it was wrong for straight people. I asked him when was the last time he had been to church or read a Bible and he couldn't remember. Sort of interesting how people get so freaked out about those topics but they really have no clue.
We just teach the Bible stories however I am going to start a new lesson series that I am basing from the old Lutheran cartoon, Davey and Goliath. I found the set of the DVDs at a Dollar Store. $1 for a DVD...not bad. Oh this last one we talked about the Magi. It's surprising how everyone thinks they showed up at the actual birth of Christ. Boy have they been duped by all those manger scenes.

Thanks. I have but one life to live so I try to live it to the fullest.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
too lazy? *grumble*grumble*grumble* Ha. Just kidding. I feel like I'm clairvoyant! Because I knew that the post was coming before everybody else! Whoot! Feel better, bud. And about Noah? There really isn't anything left to say. I'm excited that Hansbrough will also suffer the same fate. Riding the pine for all time. (I rhymed!!)
@MrsMok -
I'm sure Hansbrough would probably get a lot of playing time with Oklahoma City but that is because they look like a JV team.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Nostrils are flared . . . taking it all in. The W was a buffoon. Period.
@jacksoncroons -
But he...um...uh...um...gee...he proved he could read but of course it was "My Pet Goat". I have a hard time finding anything positive to come out of the past eight years.
