So I am all out of sorts.  Doctors suck and so does the month of February.  It snowed this evening so now I have snow covering the gray mix of sand and ice, ice which I slipped and fell on and landed on my hand, which is now all cut up.  Valentine's Day sucks.  I also have a growth under my tongue and the doctors want to take it out or do a biopsy, I can't remember.  My family has had a history of cancer in the mouth so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
Anyone in Minneapolis?  I need you to do something for me.  Friday is a somewhat special day for me.  I miss Baja Sol so go there for me.  I used to hit that place up every time before we went to the Uptown Bar, Triple Rock, First Avenue, or Electric Fetus.  Please do it for me by proxy...all you can eat tortilla chips and the salsa bar...how awesome is that?

Well here is your dose of motivation:

Well I hope that does the trick...remember Baja Sol...

  • the first one is funny.
old people (my grandparents and stuff) always took pictures of people in our family when they died while they were in their casket. That creeped my ass out. Just what I always wanted to see. I like the cybersex dude too. That is so true. All the people that are "hooking up" with folks that they meet online. Jesus, I can only imagine what they really look like. I can make my profile pic a supermodelish pic that isn't me, but, no one will every know...NUTS.

  • @SpongeBobScaredyPants -

That first one actually used to be customary. They would pose dead people though. After they died families would want one last photo so they would get portrait shots but that was back in the late 1800s.
I had a friend once that went into a lesbian chatroom pretending to be a lesbian. He met another lesbian and they started cybering and then would talk regularly and he thought he was playing this huge joke on an actual lesbian. Well after a couple weeks he admitted he was a guy and then the other lesbian admitted that she was a guy and now they are friends but I don't know if they go cybering pretending to be the opposite sex.

  • C'mon feb isnt that bad.. :D you need a chill pill despite all whats going on there.

  • I like Sarcasm . . . I have never been fond of February either . . . how do they pack so much crappy weather in such a tiny month????

  • my family actually has a book with pictures of our dead relatives from ages ago (it was a real neat find as a child, it gave me nightmares for decades lmao)
I'm still not going to use a mini so :P even though i should lol) anyway this was freaking hilarious (as always) thanks for another round :D

  • Unfortunately, I didn't laugh out loud at any of these. They were still entertaining, though.

Edison stole inventions. Tessla was actually innovative. :P

  • Thanks for the chuckles.  I love the Jailbait and Nut Sack especially.

For the History - it made me think.  Why didn't we study art along with history?  They would make a great interdisciplinary combo.

  • The History one was rather interesting. What *is* that anyway?

  • My hubby goes to Baja Sol all the time.  I'll see if he'll go tomorrow for you.

  • *shakes head* You are hysterical, my friend.

  • @tweeny_tear -

Yes...I need massive amounts of chill pills.

  • @jacksoncroons -

The Sarcasm one reminds me of one of my guilty pleasures...Cops. No matter how people's civil rights get abused, I get sick joy in watching people get tased. That is one of my goals for my 29th year but only in a legal way. One of my students' dads is a county deputy and he has to get tased once a year in order for him to carry the gun, the last time he got tased the wires hit his skin and burned him so now he has some scars. February sucks...maybe it is revenge for so many people misspelling its name...worst month for weath and hardest name to spell, I think there is a correlation.

  • @choralone -

I was at a family reunion this summer/fall and they had a couple of photos of people who were posed after they died. It was creepy. I had them make copies for me because some day I think those posed dead photos would make a kick ass death metal album cover.
You don't have to waste a mini on me. Thanks for reading.

  • @methodElevated -

I guess I took a cue from the funniest photo contest. Seriously, what is so funny about two people sitting on a couch? But I did enjoy your photo. I have heard that about Edison that he was more of a thief than inventor. Tesla was never discussed in any of my college science courses because I think he wasn't a Christian so automatically my college's science department threw out all mention of him.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

Yeah, I agree with you there.

You should research him sometime if you're interested in that sort of thing. He made some brilliant things... some of which are lost now, unfortunately. Here's the wikipedia article on him.

  • @curiousdwk -

I used to incorporate art work into my history courses because you can get huge ideas about what people were going through based on the artwork of the time. When I had art in college, it was 4 days a week with 2 days being art lab where we created junk and then the other 2 days were history lectures. The lectures were more fun because you got to learn how messed up some of those famous guys were. I had to teach the class on Monet or I can't remember but he was the guy who was a post office official and left it all to be an artist and ended up marrying a 14 year old native girl. Art is fun.

  • @SladeTheGreyFox -

I can't remember the title of the actual painting that Leatherface was dropped in but I am recalling it may be something about the slaughter of infants in Bethlehem.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

I love watching Cops. Then again, given my Father's side of the family, I spend every episode looking for kin. My wife just shakes her head and walks away.

  • @ThatOneBlondeChick -

Awesome...that place is so good. If I had one down here I probably could eat there most every day.

  • @revolveloverocknroll22 -

Thank you...I'll have to tell you want you need to buy with your money.

  • Taking pictures of dead people IS kinda creepy - when I was a teenager I was at a funeral and they took pictures...*shudders*

    Good luck with your mouth!!!

    *HUGS*

  • @methodElevated -

Thanks, I will look into it.

  • Aw, you sound like you need a hug. The month of February isn't so bad, lots of good things and yummy candy. I think taking pictures of dead people or at a funeral is a little odd. I'd be slightly creeped out. I'm praying for you.

  • Oh geez, another health problem? I hope it's all harmless!

You found funny stuff again! The Edison one is hilarious! lol

  • @bosefius -

That is another reason to watch it however they never come to my backwoods part of the state. Another aspect I love is how people try to talk their way out of arrest. Or when asked why they ran, the guys usually say, "I was afraid but I didn't do anything." Of course I get fearful when the cops park outside my house to do their paperwork in the car while monitoring an intersection.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - Your chatroom story is awesome! lol So they weren't mad at each other?

  • @msbutterfli -

I don't recall pictures ever being taken at a funeral but one funeral always comes to mind for another reason. One of my uncles died suddenly and he liked to drink. Well they filled his casket will all sorts of booze. After the funeral I asked the priest if they took out the bottles or left them in. He said they left them in. I then asked why and he said that my uncle may get thirsty in purgatory. That blew my mind.

I had a friend who died and at his funeral some people put a can of chewing tobacco in his hands and put a 6 pack in his casket. I know when you're dead that doesn't matter but it is the last memories you have of that person. You'd think they'd want to show some respect.

  • @TiRocKiinPiinK -

Thanks, yeah I could use a hug but I don't think I'd let go. I always forget candy but then not a lot of people buy it for me but those after Valentine's Day sales are great for bargains.

  • @nattata -

With me it is always one thing after the other.

Thanks, I love these and I found a batch for next week, actually the next 3 weeks.

Oh and my friend...I think they weren't mad at each other because of embarrassment. They may have done things while chatting that they weren't proud of so by befriending each other it was like they could put the past away and look towards the future. I can't tell for sure but I think they have given up posing as members of the opposite sex.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - Cool. :) Maybe they do it together now, two experts on one side. ;)

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

I am not sure where my father's relatives are (to be honest, he's a good Ohio mountain boy so may have them everywhere) so I find it easier just to assume any beer belly, drunk redneck in a Mack Hat and dirty, sweat stained tank top is kin.

  • @nattata -

Yeah that may be the case but some of their other expertise I wouldn't want them to do together.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - lol If it makes them happy... ;)

  • "His just dropped"    Bahahaha.

  • @twistedmistletoe -

You have to have balls to pull off a look like that.

  • Very very true. That kind of look can result in either a phone number or a bitch slap. Heh.

  • hahahhahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa111111111111!!!!!!!!
    excellent pix.

  • @twistedmistletoe -

Well....I've never had either but then I try not to put myself in those situations.

  • @UR_MUSE -

    Thank you for reading!

  • I like the devil in California one the best!!

  • @theladyofabundance -

That was a great Jackass bit.
