  • LMAO! Wow, another hilarious post from the GOGB! :D

  • @kachino -

Yeah, The Maury Show is hard to watch. It's like a seriously bad car accident that you can't take your eyes off and there is also constant swearing for some reason. I added another video.

  • im pretty shur tdonovan iz my fathur too now maybe maury will hav me on hiz show hahahahahahahahahahahahaha this wud be trajik but itz too too funny

  • omigawd i didnt kno you cud get xclusive maury ring tonez too!!!

  • @pansybradshaw -

You know, I think they have anyone on the Maury Show. I am also noticing a scary trend. I think Maury is slowing turning into a religion. People go on the show and claim how Maury saved their marriage or even saved their life. I wonder if Maury is teh anti-christ as foretold in the Bible.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

you kno he iz maury spelld bakwerdz iz 666 hahahahahahahahahaha grayte post

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

Yeah, I saw those videos before ;) . Oh and by the way Matt, you are NOT the father of that child.

  • Whatever happened to that one guy before Murray and Jerry Springer.. his show was the most absurd. and for the life of me I cant remember the name of him

  • @Paul_Partisan -

I want to say you may be thinking of Morton Downey Jr. He was the right-wing host and the topics of his show were much like Jerry and Maury. I think Jerry was actually inspired by Downey to include the fighting. The first years of Jerry there wasn't any fighting and sometimes the show was very serious. Downed ended up dying of lung cancer but it isn't any wonder since he smoked during his show. I think he went through about a pack an episode.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

I don't think it was him. This show was outrageous... Really absurd stories.. and the place they filmed it at was weird. Though it could have been Morton.. it might have actually been Springer too, before he got big. But I swear it was someone else entirely.

The other great show was the Howard Stern show that was on Fox in the 90s. So brief. But so bad.

  • yeesh he's like a cockroach... hmm that's kind of a neat thought actually ~post apocalyptic world= roaches and maury living it up talk show style haha

  • My husband watches Maury and Jerry Springer, I think, just to bug me. I can't believe how low these two hosts have sunk in their careers with this trash; each of them have done better. I have read in a medical book that there is only a 24 hr. period each month in which a female can become pregnant. With this in mind, think of these particular girls, when they get on the show and have so many guys tested for paternity. There was one girl, who after the 27th attempt, was still looking. What???? That must have been quite the party!

  • @Paul_Partisan -

I can only think of Richard Bey or Geraldo Rivera. I remember those being so over the top. Then there was a parody of a talk show called Night Stand with Dick Dietrich. It parodied the major talk shows and I remember one topic vividly..."I have large breasts and enjoy jump-roping".

  • @choralone -

I shudder at the thought of a post apocalyptic world with Maury...in the case of cockroach #34712, cockroach #26090 you are NOT the father.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay -

it was Richard Bey lmao... i watched a clip on youtube... lol

  • @sandburm -

I am just amazed as to how bad things are getting when these women come on the show and have no clue who the father could be. Sometimes I think they just test random men or guys they have slept with at some point in their life but either way it is sad. I have seen that girl who has tested like 27 guys...I don't feel sad for her but for her children. I remember one woman on the Maury Show that tested like 10 guys for one child and couldn't find the father so she started testing for one of her other kids and I think she only tested 7 guys before she found the father.

  • godfatherofgreenbay- And how do you like the way the girls scream at,and carry on about the guy; like they are so innocent and not held accountable. Unless she became pregnant by being drugged or raped, then she should accept part of the responsibility. There are more than 60 methods of birth control available today. I like what my grandmother said years ago when the development of the first birth control pill hit the news. She said the first birth control method available when she was a girl,(b.1890)was a firm and decisive "NO". Then she would add that the first birth control pill was an aspirin.......held firmly between the knees.(She did have her ways about her.) :D

  • Haha, I used to watch Maury, but then I got tired of nothing but baby daddy drama. I prefer the man or woman episodes now! =P

  • @sandburm -

I have always wondered that as well. Why is it always the guy's fault? I mean if a woman has to test 27 guys to find the father of her child then she has issues but the crowd doesn't boo her. Nor do they boo when the guy is determined not to be the father. they are sympathetic. I have heard of those birth control methods and I wish more girls did as well. What absolutely boggles my mind is all the cussing on the show. Maury and the guests aren't saying anything and they have to bleep out swearing. It's the audience. That is horrible that the audience has to be edited.

  • @TiRocKiinPiinK -

Yes, those man or woman shows are quite entertaining. Too bad they only come on whenever there is a holiday like 4 or 5 times a year and there are paternity tests like 4 times a week.

  • You know, I'm sure who my father was, but you know what?  It doesn't make a difference after all.  Sometimes I wish I didn't.

  • Ya know, I like Maury.  It's just sooooooo white trash.  I mainly watch because it's the only thing on during 3am feedings.  I LOVED Maury when he first came on air.  He handled real issues and did it in a lot classier way.  But... times change.  Sex, Shock and Slander sells.  I love makeover shows and Drag Queens!  Bring on the drag queens!  lol  <3 SuZ

  • @curiousdwk -

Even though a man is father, he may not always BE a father. The great movie Boyz in the Hood offered a quote that I love, "Any fool with a dick can make a baby, but it takes a real man to be a father."

  • @VioletMoonDancer7 -

I suppose you have to watch what is on during those feedings. Maury is on in the mornings here. When I lived in the burbs of Minneapolis one station had it on three times a day and then it was on twice on another channel with back to back episodes. Of course now the talkshow that is on late at night is Jerry Springer. To me that is white trash.

  • LOL @ the Juno Pic. I can think of a good ending to "Maury Smurfvich."

  • @JavaaWan -

I can't for that ending. When I first saw that Juno pic I laughed so hard.

  • That is my 'sick day' viewing pleasure...

  • @Olyachka -

I have to admit that I have caught my share of Maury but it always leaves me scratching my head.
