Motivation
Rest in Peace, Teddy. You will be greatly missed. The Lion of the Senate sleeps tonight.What a loss! Teddy was one of the few politicians that seemed to genuinely give a damn about people, not just his constituents but all Americans. Say what you will about the letter behind his name, he did do great things for Americans....women's rights, minimum wage, medicare, worker's rights...this guy fought for you.
I am also feeling pretty crappy about this whole Miss Xangamerica contest. I was pissed that I could only vote for 3. There are at least 6 or 7 that I want to vote for. I felt so conflicted having to narrow down my choices. Crap, I spent time analyzing this vote. I didn't do that in November because I knew way back in February whom I would vote for. The last election I spent time analyzing my pick was in 2000. Anyway, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings with this contest, just don't take it personally. Somehow I can make it up to you.
Here's your weekly dose of motivation:
Well that is it tonight. I am thinking I should do a Kennedy post but thatwould be cliche, wouldn't it? Oh and I am finally getting motivated to do my nude pics post. I figured it is about time. I have said I would for some time. Actually it is my response to a popular Xangan's pulses in which he proclaims the size of his manhood. Well I am going to get one of those tape measures so I can give full details of the measurements of my manhood. I am a little nervous so maybe my findings will be schewed.
This song came up in a comment in one of my last posts and I found it. This could be one of my favorite songs. I even tried penning a few verses for an update of rock legends who have died in my lifetime.
Anyway, can anyone name all the people they sing about?
Have a good night...I promise I will make better posts in the future. I know my last one sucked and that is why 1 of you viewed it. 2 view for the win!

Jimi Hendrix (totally guessing, I don't know much of his stuff), Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Doors/Jim Morrison, Jim Croce, Bobby Darin. I've never heard the song before, but I liked it a lot, thanks.
R.I.P. Ted Kennedy.
that cubby picture is wrong.
is...great timing...LOL
The masturbation striking without warning is hilarious. He isn't, he is? LOL
i like.
WhooHoo! I used to like this song . . . haven't heard it in ages. Teddy was a great politician . .. he truly did care about people. Thanks for the motivation!
Rest in peace
I must have missed the post that sucked, I can't remember you ever doing a lousy one. This one today is too funny. Only problem is, now I'm going nuts trying to figure out where that church is. I think I've been to the town it's in while I was in Alberta. We worked in a town called Drumheller, the badlands, and the whole area is one massive find of dinosaur remains. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is a fantastic place to see.
The public hanging of Saddam is great. Did you know he wrote romance novels? I'm sure they'd be interesting. Probably have lots of hand cuffs, sadism, and his fantasies of being rear-ended by a camels.
I'm losing it. See ya later G.
I never knew Amish girls could be so hot.
I like the Amish one and great timing. Sorry if I didn't view your post. I read what is in my box first and that's a lot of crap. But people are posting the same things so I'll read more of you.
@Melissa___Dawn -
You got them all. The funny thing with that song is that the Righteous Brothers broke up in 1969 but then came together to record that song in 1974. There were people who criticized the song because it didn't include the three who died in the Iowa plane crash, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. The reason they weren't included is that two years prior there was a huge hit song that was released that was dedicated to those three, a song called American Pie by Don McClean.
@Paul_Partisan -
Yes, that is why I had to include it.
@bluedreamer85 -
I laughed so hard when I first saw that one.
@Afrostronomy@hoodstars -
I don't think he is because it appears as if he is some sort of auto racer so I think he is probably just taking a post-race leak.
@balloonsandchampange -
Thank you...I love these things.
@jacksoncroons -
I am glad you loved the motivation. I remember hearing that Rock and Roll Heaven song as a child and seeing my dad cry because it brought back so many memories for him. I think I am going to have to go down to Madison this December and throw some flowers into Lake Monona. I also feel like a February trip to Clear Lake, Iowa is also in order.
@Olyachka -
He should be missed by all Americans that have jobs and his death should garner more media attention than Michael Jackson's.
@dikdoktor -
Yeah, I am wondering where that church is too. I'd love to pay a visit. Hopefully it isn't one of those snake-handling and poison drinking churches. I will have to post a photo of another church whose name I find ironic.
I think I heard that he wrote novels. I would love to see an English translation. I also remember hearing how Saddam loved the old show Little House on the Prairie. I bet the reason why he was always upset with the US was because he secretly visited the area of where that show took place and was disappointed to see that it was nothing like the TV series. I can agree, I went to school in that area. In fact the highway I traveled on was called The Laura Ingalls Wilder Highway.
@UR_MUSE -
There are a few around here that I have seen that can be hot. I just couldn't get near them because of their anti-deodorant stance. There was a guy my age around here that converted to being Amish because he met a girl and fell in love. No way could I do that.
I may have to talk about the Amish practice with placing holes in bedsheets.
@TiRocKiinPiinK -
It's alright. It was just a review of the TV show that I have been posting on a weekly basis.
That Timing one is hilarious.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
That's hilarious. The "Laura Engals Hwy" When I was in the badlands of Alberta, I just missed running into clint Eastwood when he made the movie "Unforgiven" His crew stayed at the same motel we were in, had just left the day before we got there back in 1990 I think. Part of the film was made around Drumheller Alberta and the rest was done about 30 miles south of Calgary. I know - recognized all of the spots he was using. I use to go fishing down in a place called High River,and Turner Valley. That's where they show the mountains and the foothills. Pretty cool. My friend Dan took me to a sushi restaurant in Calgary where Clint use to have dinner often. I had never had sushi before but figured if Mr. Eastwood ate there it would be worth the risk. His signed pictures are all over the walls and, the food was fantastic! Man, I really miss being out west. Almost every 2 months you'd see an ad in the paper, a film company looking for "Extra's" I could have got a job being the town drunk in lots of old westerns or played the part of a homeless lunatic wandering the streets. hehehehehehehe
@dikdoktor -
That is pretty cool but too bad you missed Clint. I missed Johnny Depp when they filmed his latest movie, Public Enemies. It was mostly filmed at locations in Wisconsin and a few of the scenes were about 20 minutes or so from my place. Also many years ago Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts filmed a movie around here called I Love Trouble. Julia checked out a whole floor to one of the motels. A friend of mine was an escort, not in that way, for Phil Jackson. Jackson requested that an employee at Noah's Ark accompany him throughout the park. I also ran into a wrestler by the name of X-Pac, real name Sean Waltman. We hung out for a while and then when he came back the next year he remembered me but we didn't get to hang out because a few hours after I ran into him he attacked some autograph seeker that got physical with him.
Holy smokes! Wrestlers. Years back there was a really violent show on - "Stampede Wrestling" in Calgary. Brett the Hitman Hart, all of his brothers, The British Bulldogs, Dave Schultz, Jimmy Neidhart, tons of them all started here. After the fights on Friday night, they'd all go up to the Bowness hotel - about 20 of them. I met the Hitman and his brothers, the one was a part time school teacher where my brother was working. I was friends with a guy that was best friends with Pat Riggin - he was the goalie for the Calgary Flames back in 1980. He had a house warming party,the whole team came over, I almost got into a fight with the captain, Brad Marsh. What a riot!!! Yep, I sure do miss being out west. I wound up building an indoor swimming pool for Bras Marsh. You should have seen his wife!! She'd come down and make me a drink at 10 am, just wearing a bra and panties. At least I didn't let that one get her hooks into me but it sure was tempting - he was on the road for 2 weeks. hehehehehe
@dikdoktor -
Dang...you are a lucky guy. I have heard so many stories of the Stampede and that was the true mark of a Canadian wrestler to have worked in that promotion. My dad was working at the casino and he had the Road Warriors and Lex Luger show up one night. The AWA used to wrestle around here and that was the springboard for so many stars of the 80s and 90s. Also there is this promotion that comes around every once in a while that features Dustin Diamond. He is from Saved by the Bell, the old teen show. I also remember one show they did at an outdoor bar and one of the guys who wrestled was named Buck Zumhoff. He came out with a bnoombox blasting some Journey and this was like 2000. His daughter, who was blonde haired and blue eyed, played an "indian" princess named Winona. I laughed so hard.
You're right about Kennedy. You never got the feeling he was for corporations or even lobbyists. He was probably one of the most sincere and honest elected official that truly gave a damn about the people.
Motivation: I loved the Baptist irony and the Cubby ones. Lucky little tyke to get so much practice at such an early age. I'm still looking to practice as there's no real ones in my life.
Oh Jesus Raptor...
I hear there is a theme park you can go to where Jesus walks among the dinosaurs.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
That Stampede wrestling was the goriest I've ever seen. They came in with a squeegee and mop after many fights to clean up the blood. I saw a guy named Bad News Alan take a fork and try to remove Brett Hart's scalp! Another time, Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart brought in a 2 x 4 - with nails in it and beat a couple of guys up. I wish I could have taped them.People at ring side would be puking after seeing all of the blood and guts spilled. I heard Screech was wrestling. What a dork. Do you remember a guy from years ago called "George the Animal Steele?" He was all furry, worse than robin Williams and he'd rip the turnbuckle's apart with his teeth. hahaha It was a lot of fun years ago. The Hart family live up on Coach Hill, not too far from where I lived - and Pat Riggin. I built all of the new roads, sidewalks in that sub division back in 1980. I'd see the Hart boys quite often. Shit I miss Calgary. It's a great city. I worked on the Saddledome, poured a lot of concrete there. The Stampede grounds was a $6.00 cab ride from my place. I use to go over to watch the horses run in the spring and fall. I even had a phone account - place bets to the track by phone. I went to a few football games there too - the CFL - but holy shit, it was -40 out one Saturday. My friend and I drank a bottle of tequila in the parking lot before we went in once. There was 6 inches of snow on the seats when we got in. Canadians are nuts. Well, I'd better go and quit filling up your page here. I'll message next time.
Adios,
@curiousdwk -
I can't remember who said this in tribute of Kennedy but it was so true, "He was a member of the 'haves' yet he worked so hard for the 'have-nots'."
That little kid...let's hope he doesn't equate love with rubber...wait, that can be a good thing especially if it involves the second to last photo.
@theladyofabundance -
I hope Jesus Raptor doesn't attack like his counterparts in Jurassic Park. I am thinking that the place that has Jesus amongst the dinosaurs is the Creation Museum in Kentucky. I don't know what to think of that place other than I think the Christian church has so many other things they can do with money. There was a group of people who wanted to take some money from my church and fund a trip to this museum. Guess who is the president that shot it down?
@dikdoktor -
George Steele...I used to love him but when I was a kid I always hated how he would only be in the ring a few weeks at a time or possibly like 3 months a year. He was a teacher and wrestled in his spare time.
I suppose tequila would warm a person up in that cold. Calgary...one of my aunts says her husband, who I never knew because he died when I was an infant, played for some team in Calgary. I don't know if it was the Flames or some other team.
The Flames moved up to Calgary from Atlanta in 1980. That was their first year in the NHL. There was a team called the Calgary Cowboys from 1975 to 1977 - a junior A team I think.
Geez that Wiki is handy,
After gaining a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree from Central Michigan University,[1] Myers became a teacher, amateur wrestling coach, and football coach at Madison High School in Madison Heights, Michigan. There he would eventually become a member of the Michigan Coaches Hall of Fame
