It's late so here are gratuitous pussy photos.
This is Lua. She is very territorial.
This is Kiki. She took one sniff of my shoe and collapsed.
I often wonder about Lua. She really likes boxes.
Kiki loves to read and here we see her sitting on her favorite novel.
NEW AND USED BOAT LIQUIDATION! SCORE! If you notice, I had to put the shoe next to the tv to fill in the area in my entertainment center. Otherwise the cats crawl behind there and chew on wires and I lose my cable. Maybe they are trying to get me to not watch TV.
She isn't amused with this post much like the readers expecting vaginas.
This was when Kiki was living in Minnesota. She was quite the drinker and loved the boxes.
See, she loves drinking. Oh and that is one of my deer.
Aw...back when Lua loved to read.
They are are litter mates or sisters, if you will, so they have to have the occasional sign of affection. I bet you are wondering why is there a cup filled with water sitting on the floor in front of my cats.
They drink out of it. Yes, they refuse to drink out of a bowl and whenever I had a glass of water while watching tv or writing they would stick their head in to have a drink and usually spill. They don't spill this cup. It is just the strangest thing.
I often wonder what they dream about. Yes, Kiki fell asleep with her mouth hanging open one evening.
This is a stray in my neighborhood. I took the photo on October 15th, the birthday of my goddaughter. We call this cat Groucho because of the funny looking spots above his eyes. Here he is sleeping on my blazer.
He's a decent cat even though he sleeps on my truck and has clawed holes into one of my screens.
I posted this photo a long time ago and it wound up on LOLcatz. It said "I CANZ CHANG YOUR LIGHTBULBZ". Kiki is a strange cat.
Somehow they get out of their collars and wind up on my gun cabinet.
They love my computer. The wallpaper was the cat I had for 18 years.
They love sleeping on my piano.
I have discovered why some mornigns I would wake up and find food on the floor of my kitchen and also certain items such as crackers and graham crackers missing.
Awwwwwww
While Lua contemplates a higher power in the universe, I'm off to bed. Oh the reason she is praying...I had her ordained as a minister in the Universal Life Church. Kiki also holds ministerial credentials.

cute cats
too cute!!
This is a wonderful gallery of pussy.
I have to admit, I had no use for kats awhile ago. Now I find them interesting. After viewing this - I find them even more so. Pretty cool. If they can change a light bulb, I guess they are useful. The one that prays and found religion is the trouble maker I bet.
@dikdoktor -
I enjoy cats because they are relatively easy to care for. Also I like how they carry themselves. I think it is because the ancient Egyptians used to worship cats and the cat has never forgotten.
That one that prays is constantly hounding (haha) me about church or maybe it is she just wants me to worship her
@Garistotle -
I hope I don't get an Ex rating for this post.
@MomoLikesChoco -
Yeah, I think so. They keep me entertained.
@Chinese_Sait0u -
They are quite fun.
I'm a "dog person" but have developed a taste for cats, I like them deep fried. hahahahaha Just kidding. My sis hat a few over the years, she even taught one to fetch. I wish I had a picture to show you of my big dog Bruno, laying down with 2 cats and a rabbit all huddled around him. He would pick them up by the scruff, just like they were his kids and lay in the shade and slobber all over them. I came close to firing him for being such a dick but kept him around because he never bit me and saved me from being eaten by a couple of bears once out in the mountains.
your pussies are adorable! and kiki who loves to read has good taste in graphic novels.
oh, and, the Dropkick Murphys are fantastic. have you listened to Great Big Sea? if you like the Dropkick Murphys i think you'll like Great Big Sea as well.
Lua's eyes are brilliant! Your cats have the perfect balance of regal and cute.
Oh and the picture of the one sleeping with the mouth open made me LOL!
you have cute babies
nice cats
@entendezmavoix -
Dropkick Murphys are el sucko after Mike their original singer left the band to become a firefighter or something... Why listen to people faking irish accents when you can listen to the Pogues or Stiff Little Fingers?
Beautiful cats and love their antics! My cat does similar things;she also refuses to drink out of bowl so, we have to keep the faucet dripping. I spend the better part of my day picking up the things she knocks over. Cats rule, people are staff. I feel so insignificant at times.
Pretty meow meow.
Nice pussy(s)
Hope that pistol is not loaded
Dog: The human feeds me, pets me, cares for me, walks me... He must be a god.
Cat: The human feeds me, pets me when I want, cares for me, cleans my litter box...I must be a god.
I love my cats, I will have to get pictures of mine and post them.
1. My friend's cats do the same thing about drinking out of a cup and nothing else.
2. My dog also likes to stare at lightbulbs, much like Kiki seems to be doing. What is that about? Sometimes after an extended staring session, she'll go around the house pawing at the air and trying t catch invisible spots. Dogs....
@Paul_Partisan -
well, I don't pay attention to when bands are good and when they're bad, etc. If there's an album I like, I listen to it. I may or may not like the Dropkick Murphys after this Mike person was gone, I can't really be sure.
As for The Pogues, they're awesome. Haven't heard of Stiff Little Fingers, I'll have to check them out.
I'm also a fan of The Dubliners, The Young Dubliners are okay, I like Gaelic Storm and Enter the Haggis (though, I know, there music is not Irish) from time to time, and there's a few others whose names escape me because I haven't listened to them as much. Flogging Molly is a reliable old favorite, but, they're also a bit more mainstream.
It doesn't much matter to me if a band is "faking" something. If they're music is good then why should I care if they don't really have an accent? I'm not listening because I like the accent, I'm listening because I like the music. It's along the same lines of why I don't like someone like Brittney Spears. I could choose to not listen to her music because she's a trashy skank, but, instead I choose not to listen because she produces shitty music. If she produced music that I thought was good, I wouldn't care if she was a trashy skank.
So, I will continue liking Great Big Sea and Dropkick Murphys until they stop sounding good.
@dikdoktor -
If a dog saves you from being eaten by bears then he is worthy of being kept around. When I was in high school I had a Rottweiler. She was a mean old cuss and she was huge. She could put her front paws on my shoulders and we'd be nearly at eye level. At that time I was 6'4". I lived on a horse farm and she chased off coyotes that bothered the horses. She actually killed a few. But one night she was stolen. She did put up a fight and tore off one of her captors fingers. I don't want to sound racist so I won't go any further.
@entendezmavoix -
I will have to check out that band. I have heard the name but haven't really listened to them. I looked them up on wikipedia and can't believe why I haven't heard of them.
Oh and Watchmen...I can just imagine that the people that gave me that for Christmas are probably having their stomachs churn at the sight of one of my cats sitting on it.
Muahahaha! They all look adorable! My cats must be envy of them because they gotta hang out in your home but we have 19 cats and can't really have them in our home!
& just like my cat, Heiress, she already chewed my sister's headphone wire out when she still resided within my apartment. I assume all cat always has a thing with a long wire.
@bosefius -
haha, I agree with you on that! When I was younger, my dad drove two dogs (mother & a little son lol) to drop out at a friend's home very far away from our home but 2-3 days later, they found their way back to our home, just like any loyal dog...unbelievable! So since then we gotta have it at last. Unlike cat, when they're gone. They're really gone! Hehe. They are God, really...
@royal_diadem -
Lua's eyes...I am often taken back by them especially when I am sleeping and I wake up with her looking into my face. It's like she is part owl.
I think when Kiki fell asleep that night with her mouth open she was watching a ladybug flying around my ceiling.
@NightlyDreams -
Yes, they are cute and they both act like babies when it comes to certain things. One craves attention so much. I can't move without her following me. I think she has been like that since I was in the hospital last year. The other does the strangest thing. She found some of my school supplies and in those supplies I had a pack of bendy straws. Well she got into the bag and would pick up the straws in her mouth and bring them downstairs to me. She carries them from one of my upstairs rooms, down a hallway, down the stairs and then to wherever I am in the house on the bottom floor. I think she does that only because I give her a treat. Also at night I will wake up with straws all around my bed or body and in my bed depending on where I sleep.
@sandburm -
Oh yes, drinking out of the faucet. They both went through that phase. They also love my shower. The water doesn't go down as fast as it should so after I am done they go in and rol around so their coats are extra shiny because they get a shampoo treatment.
@RestlessButterfly -
Thank you.
@ElevenStones -
You know I think the day I took that photo with the pistol was the day when there was a string of robberies and a couple of my neighbors had their homes broken into and had items stolen.
@bosefius -
That is pretty true. I think it all stems from how the Egyptians worshiped cats and the cats have never forgotten.
@NoGraySunflowers -
Ha...that is great about your dog. I think my cats do that when they stare at one of my lights that seems to attract all the lady bugs. My first cat was funny about where he got water. We lived in an older house that had radiators and my mom would fill bread pans with water and leave them on the radiators so that the house would stay humidified during the winter. Well of course the old cat would go around drinking out of those pans.
@starrynite45 -
Wow...19 cats, I couldn't imagine having that many. I have thought about adopting the stray that hangs out around my house but I don't think I could handle three. Oh and I forgot to include that one of these cats chewed through a cord on my computer's speaker system. Thankfully I had extras.
*thumbs up*
I love kitty cats. I was attacked by an English sheepdog when I about 6 or 7 and to this day I'm still afraid of them. I love cats. Since I moved away to college I've missed my cat Bell alot. I'm used to sleeping with him on my feet. =]
i'm a cat, and i dance dance dance, and i dance dance dance...
lol lovely cats you have there.
@twistedmistletoe -
I have had two dogs in my life and they were decent but usually when a dog is around me they get all agitated. I have often wondered if that makes me a vampire since one of the vampire signs is that dogs are fearful of you. In high school I lived on a horse farm and the owner was one of those horse whisperer people. He couldn't see the best so I offered to drive him to a nearby farm one night because they were having problems with their horse. They had a golden retriever and it came up to me while I was holding the horse's reign. I patted the dog on the head and then he reared back and bit my middle finger and started tearing it. I still have that scar.
@BranmacFeabhail -
thank you...I need to get a video camera and shoot how these two "dance" when I play with them with a certain toy. They jump at me and almost jump as high as I am tall.
LOL WOW, this is such an adorable post... Your cats are soo cute!
I think my heart melted a little.
@mZdejavuZ -
Thanks...they are worth having around although I wish I could train them to leave me alone when I sleep or not to get into mischief when I sleep.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
Really, I swear they think anything with a wire can be eaten!
@godfatherofgreenbay -
that really is adorable.
you have two characters living with you. i wonder what the facination with the straws is about. that's just plane weird!
Awwww! I let my kitty out on Wednesday night and she hasn't been back yet
i miss her so much! she always drinks water out of my cups too, and if she can't stick her head in far enough to reach the water she'll just spill it over with her paw. it's so cute but it's so annoying!
@CanadianConspiracy -
Aw...I hope your cat returns soon. My old cat would stick his paw into cups and glasses and then lick the water off.
A person can actually register a cat as a minister? Wow, I find that very odd. LOL Your cats (and the neighbor) are adorable. Lua has very similar color/markings to a cat I had in 2001-2002. She unfortunately died (we think of heat stroke), but she was really awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Your cats are soooo gorgeous! I have a calico too. Her name is Rosalina. Looks a lot like your Lua. Gorgeous!
@VioletMoonDancer7 -
The neighbor cat was watching me grill this evening. I think he sits there and begs because I usually throw him a bit of meat.
A professor at my school had his stuffed armadillo ordained in this particular church so I guess one could have anything ordained. I think it is ULC.org...but it is called Universal Life Church. I had my first cat ordained and they sent an email after 9/11 requesting that he send a prayer. I was tempted to send a prayer that read: meow meow meow meow meow ME-ow me-OW amen.
@Another_Perfect_Wonder -
I like these cats, they provide such great companionship. I fell asleep this afternoon watching football and I woke up one was laying on my back and the other was laying right in front of my face.
