Monday Evening Mash-Up Madness+Halloween
I was set to do this post last night but the uploaders didn't work for both audio and photos when I attempted. I kept getting a message that said servers were down. Oh well, they're working now. Did everyone get their clocks changed? I forgot one, my living room chiming clock. I took it down and changed it and I think I flipped a switch on the chimes because now on the top of every hour it chimes Ave Maria.
This mash-up is a mixture of Madonna's "Holiday" and Kelis' "Milkshake".
This one combines Tony Bennett's "Steppin' Out with My Baby" and mashes it with T.I.'s "Wherever". I love the combination of the different styles in this one.
Here's a special Halloween mash-up. The music you hear is from the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I believe some of the vocals are also used. The main vocals come from two different songs. The female vocals come from Alanis Morrisette's "You Oughtta Know"(her alleged song about Dave Coullier) and the male vocals come from Korn's "Falling Away From Me". I really like this one and I apologize that I don't know the name of the song from Rocky Horror Picture Show. I have seen the movie a few times but it hasn't been a cult thing for me.

These costumes blow my mind. But they make me anxious for 2010. I can't drink legally til 2011 which is unfortunate but I will deal.
I went as Alice and I ditched Kent for Ohio State's parties. Totally Worth It.

My captain was going to sneak off the boat, and go to a Halloween party dressed as a breathalyzer. Unfortunately, the weather broke and we had to get underway. There's always next yeasr.
i thought wolverine was cute. but some of those costumes i'm not sure what they were. Was the guy in green suppose to be a farm?

Ohio State, huh? I have heard that it is a great party school and I hear that from one of my former students who decided to go there. When I was in college I spent the majority of my summer in a town near Columbus but I didn't get to experience any parties.

Thanks...I stayed in and watched football which I guess isn't so bad. I also feasted on candy that I had because no trick or treaters came to my house.

Oh Kelis...she was married to Nas, they had a baby, the last time I saw her in public she was wearing tight gold pants and a jacket that proudly displayed the N-word which I think was the name of her clothing line, and she is now going through a divorce with Nas. He was recently caught by a paparazzi and he said that he refuses to give Kelis any child support because he doesn't know if the child is his.

Hahaha...a breathalyzer. Given the slutty nature of some girls on Halloween I bet his costume would get used quite a bit.

Nah, I stayed in and watched football. I think the last time I actually dressed up for Halloween was when I was in college. I had dyed my hair black earlier in the semester and I thought the perfect thing to go as was a wannabe mafioso. I wore a red Tommy Hilfiger shirt and some gold chains and a blue visor. Someone handed me a fake mustache and I looked like Mario.
@godfatherofgreenbay - You just pulled bizarre costumes! I wouldn't expect anything less from you, but, still...silly man. And those "nude" costumes are disturbing.

Yeah I am still trying to figure out how a person would come to the idea that they were going to go to a costume party dressed as a vagina with a tampon.

i really like clever costumes, though. i saw one costume that was called "low resolution girl". her make up and dress were large pixels. it was pretty much awesome. but i'm also a nerd.
MLIA also had some epic stories from halloween. one about a group of guys that carried a door around and dressed as old ladies. they had the people knock on their door then would give them candy.

That is a pretty good costume idea and the MLIA story would have been better if instead of candy they handed out pennies.
