If you think Sprite is the best, rec this post. If you think 7-Up is better, rec this post. Yes, I'm shameless but that's how I roll, deal with it and if this post doesn't make it to #1 then Xanga will shut down on March 15th.
How about I like them both equally? Same with Coke and Pepsi...etc; etc; Though my big love is cream sodas and cherry flavored sodas and even cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper =D
Cherry soda is indeed to love. I wonder what ever happened to Cherry Smash? It was the most delicious stuff in the universe until it disappeared. Sadly, it's been absent for many years now.
7up, cause I like the design better
If I can make my way to this post on my laptop before March 15th I will do my part to help make this dream come true. For the record, I go with 7-Up if forced to choose although I can't endorse either as a viable beverage.
You jokers have no sense. Everybody knows Sierra Mist ALWAYS wins...
FUCK YES I AM A CLOSED MINDED BASTARD! THOSE FUCKS AT PEPSI CAN'T HOLD A CANDLE TO THE GOOD FOLKS AT COCA-COLA OR THE GOOD PEOPLE AT DR. PEPPER SO FUCK PEPSI IN THEIR STUPID FUCKING ASSES WHILE LUBED UP WITH YOUR PRECIOUS FUCKING SIERRA MIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh the cream soda...can't stand that stuff. I tried the berry and cream Dr. Pepper. I bought a 12 pack and left it in my car when I was teaching and I went out at recess to get a can. It was bad. The next day a mother of a student came to borrow my vehicle and she asked if she could have a can and I gave her 11.
I have so many problems with pop anymore, probably because I'm getting older, but the stuff with fake sugar burns my throat and it sort of gives me a intense but short heart burn.
So I haven't drank soda in like 15yrs but I choose Pomegranate juice. It's an all day aphrodisiac
Sprite, cause I haven't had 7UP in forever and can't correctly judge, lol. I drink Sprite all the time, they have Coke Rewards caps. XD
I like both. I think they are both really good.
how bout gfogb is the best? as for the sodas though.....
You are wrong, and i will prove it. X = the typical tastebud of a Xangan troll. a = the alternate tastebuds of non Xangan trolls. n = a number between 1 and a billion. g = the force of gravity or more acurately "the gee spot". If X+a+n+g+a = the better of the seven major blogging sites and X-a-n-g-a is less than the value of a facebook page then X(a(n(g(a)))) is greater than X/a/n/g/a or basically, you are wrong and Xanga just proves it.
I mentioned using Cheerwine for an ice cream float at a pizza and ice cream parlor and they now offer it and it's quite popular, more popular than their Mountain Dew float.
I do. It was supposed to be sort of a ginger ale type taste. Not the worst soda I've ever tried (Blenheim's is - ACK), but Diet Cherry will always be my favorite 7Up.
Remember Pepsi Light? It had a little dash of lemon flavor (YUM) and smelled pretty good. The ad had a bunch of singing, dancing football players in a locker room, which I found really funny for some reason. Did you try Pepsi Throwback when it was available for a few months last year? It was oh, so good. It was made using the original formula, which was sweetened with pure cane sugar, and there is a very definite difference between the taste of cane sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Damn, it was tasty.
Cheerwine is delicious! The smell and flavor remind me of summer. It isnt as sweet as Cherry Smash, which is kind of like a carbonated version of the syrup in the maraschino cherry jar. Cheerwine is better carbonated and tickles all the way down. )
also do you remember dnL? It was the opposite of 7up...green, in a clear bottle and caffeinated. I can't remember Pepsi Light but I do remember a Pepsi Free and also when Pepsi put lemon in their drinks and it tasted horrible. See because I'm getting old I can't handle some of those pops because of the fake sugar they use so when Pepsi had the Throwbacks I was happy because I could actually handle them without burning my throat and tract but I could only have one every couple of days because I was worried about having my leg chopped off because they might make me diabetic. That is interesting about why they give pop to you when you're sick. Never thought of it.
I don't think there is any coincidence that Royal Crown goes so well with Crown Royal.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Wasn't that on the market around the same time that Vanilla Coke (vile, bilious secretion) was introduced? I never tasted it. Was it good?
I know what you mean about the sugar. I'm diabetic and it sucks a total tailpipe. Had to go light on the Throwback, but damn it was delicious.
This is going waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back into the misspent days of my youth, but do you remember Lime Ricky? If there was a diet version available I'd be all over it, it tasted amazing.
I can't remember when but the Pepsi Lemon was at the same time as the Coke Lemon and the Pepsi Lime was at the same time as Coke Lime and that Vanilla Coke was at the same time of Vanilla Pepsi. the opposite 7up was pretty tasty, almost like that recent Mountain Dew Distortion. Oh man I have only heard of the mixed cocktail rickeys
We have a drive-up here but it's only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day but it is so good although this last year the girls they had working weren't that good but maybe that's because they didn't flirt with me to get tips.
Ha! Well at least you're smart enough to get that they usually ONLY flirt with men to get tips! I know old farts who really think the girls like them! Ha! I tell them it's only because they want a good tip. Oh well!
Can I vote for a third party? We have a wonderful local soda back home called A-Treat that is 100x better than any national brand. Plus it's still 25 cents a can out of the vending machine, and the vending machine is always broken so you get like 2 cans and then it gives you the quarter back... so much win
so... how should i prove you wrong?
I like both. Does that speak badly of my character?
Score...I should have a fringe third party candidate. That reminds me of an old Pepsi machine back when I was a kid that spit out multiple cans of Mountain Dew. When I discovered that 25 cents got me three cans I went running to my dad's store and asked for dollars of quarters. I went back with a friend and we unloaded all the Mountain Dew. My dad found out and went and narced on us.
Well, I think it has NOTHING to do with the customer (we are just another body they have to serve, and they're hoping to get $$ from us) and everything to do with them and their job. I never took it personally. Last time a waiter genuinely flirted with me (and asked me out on a date) was in 1974! Sigh.
I accidently picked up a Mt. Dew distortion once, not good!

Your argument was so compelling I had no choice but to rec it.
Diet Cherry 7Up ftw, though.
Sprite is about the only soda I will drink. That's only when I can't get my hands on a peach Nehi.
YOU FUCKING PRICK! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE SIERRA MIST OUT OF THIS POST!
WHAT DID PESPSI DO TO YOU? COKE IS REPRESENTED, THE DR. PEPPER GUYS ARE REPRESENTED!
YOU CLOSE MINDED BASTARD
I like Sprite better. But Sun Drop is my drink! lol I'm not arguing, I'm stating an opinion (:
I like them both equally. So I have to rec! :]
Well, if it'd let me but for some freaking reason it's not :/
Compare either to Sierra Mist and I will like them both equally. Sierra Mist is just horrible. I can't really decide between Sprite and 7UP though.
hmmm I think I'll go after Sprite..since..I don't remember how 7Up tastes like...
@ItIsAllGravy -
LMAO
do I have to rec if I hate both?
Orange juice!
I don't drink soda so I'll rec anyway
where's the DIET? where's the BEER?
I do like Sprite, a lot.....
Genius.. I love it. I'll mix them both together and drink em ,lol
@ItIsAllGravy - vomit on your head! GIGGLEZ
How about I like them both equally? Same with Coke and Pepsi...etc; etc; Though my big love is cream sodas and cherry flavored sodas and even cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper =D
hahaha i like 7up
wheres' the god damn caffine?
@ItIsAllGravy -
Hey, hey, hey...it's all good, man.
:: curls up into a corner with you and cradles you until you calm down ::
Shhhhhhhhh. It's okay. Mommy loves you.
@Sionainne -
http://itisallgravy.xanga.com/738847981/godfatherofgreenbay-rated-f-for-fuck-you/
I aint done with him!
Back when I used to drink pop, I would only drink Sprite given that choice. I thought 7Up was disgusting.
Neither. They both just remind me of saltine crackers and being sick.
Sprite.
Store brand lemon-lime soda.
SPRITE IS RIGHT.
@Hinase -
Cherry soda is indeed to love. I wonder what ever happened to Cherry Smash? It was the most delicious stuff in the universe until it disappeared. Sadly, it's been absent for many years now.

You jokers have no sense.
Everybody knows Sierra Mist ALWAYS wins...
@Sionainne -
Do you remember 7-Up Gold?
@KickingSheep -
That's right...Nehi. I don't see that too much up here but then I see a lot of Jolly Good.
@ItIsAllGravy -
FUCK YES I AM A CLOSED MINDED BASTARD!
@kinseydanielle -
Sun Drop...come on, Sun Drop, my parents drink Sun Drop because they said that was all they had and it was out before Mountain Dew...;)
@PlansOnANapkin -
Yeah, some people have trouble rec'ing but it's the thought that counts...thanks
@sassypenguin -
I can't believe people like that Gravy sing Sierra Mist's praises.
@NiDH0GG -
Well that works for me!
@macphoto -
BOOOOO
@nov_way -
Oh come, we all know that the best kind of juice is Cranberry Pomegranate. Orange Juice...please...;)
@godfatherofgreenbay -
I know right!
@comet555 -
Well thank you
@Sultry_Sally -
No diet, just these two and the beer is in my fridge although I think people won't like it because it's not the watered down mas produced crap.
@X_no_one_like_my_lover_nick_X -
Sprite isn't that bad especially not the Zero Sprite...maybe I need to get my pop post up again
@godfatherofgreenbay -
-Mmmmmmm, sounds yummy
hehe. Okies then. And your answer to gravy is hilarious.
@CPKviperphoenix -
A man who knows the best drinks sort of like how I enjoy making the brown kool aid.
@Hinase -
Oh the cream soda...can't stand that stuff. I tried the berry and cream Dr. Pepper. I bought a 12 pack and left it in my car when I was teaching and I went out at recess to get a can. It was bad. @hilaw -
I have an aversion to most pop except when Pepsi brought out the Throwbacks, the fake sugar burns my esophageal tract.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
Try Big Red. You might like that. I don't like anything that crazy.
@methodElevated -
I have so many problems with pop anymore, probably because I'm getting older, but the stuff with fake sugar burns my throat and it sort of gives me a intense but short heart burn.
@Miss_Vincent -
I have yet to figure out why giving someone pop when they are sick is a good idea.
@crazy2love -
Do you remember Sprite Remix?
@Rob_of_the_Sky -
Sam's Choice all day every day
@TheBigShowAtUD -
Slice
@Sionainne -
Cheerwine?
@Zissu25 -
I loved their old campaign with "Make 7-Up Yours"
@dirtbubble -
7-Up goes better with liquor but Sprite is better as a stand alone. Who ever heard of a 7 and Sprite? This is my contribution to the gang.
@McScarry -
Yeah it wins especially if it's a "Which is the worst" contest
@nov_way -
Thanks, sometimes I put a lot of effort into my comments especially with the caps lock. It's a big effort.
@Hinase -
hmmm is that strawberry
@ItIsAllGravy - hahaha. i legit laughed at that.
So I haven't drank soda in like 15yrs but I choose Pomegranate juice. It's an all day aphrodisiac

@godfatherofgreenbay -
Cheerwine is awesome. I change my answer to Cheerwine!
well then xanga is shuttttttting down. I don't like neither.
@sw33tw3asl3 -
*smiles and kicks back with a bottle of pomegranate juice*
@HisKeiki -
I am not familiar with the coke Rewards because I don't drink enough to warrant any rewards, I did get 6 t-shirts from 7-Up bottle caps.
@Shining_Garnet -
Ok, you proved me wrong
@I_once_was -
SWEET! That calls me for digging up my post about old pops
@Aloysius_son -
dang, you got me
@godfatherofgreenbay -
No. Just look for one and try it =D It's quite tasty and fulfilling even if it's a cream soda..
@Rob_of_the_Sky -
I mentioned using Cheerwine for an ice cream float at a pizza and ice cream parlor and they now offer it and it's quite popular, more popular than their Mountain Dew float.
@TheSilencedHeart -
NO! It's Xanga!
OMG! It is Xanga! What shall we ever dooo?!
Ohh but ya know: all bad..I mean good...things must end. :'(
Sprite, it makes my belly feel better when I don't feel good.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
I do. It was supposed to be sort of a ginger ale type taste. Not the worst soda I've ever tried (Blenheim's is - ACK), but Diet Cherry will always be my favorite 7Up.

@godfatherofgreenbay -
The carbonation and the carbohydrates (simple carbs), help settle the stomach. That's what doctors have told me.
@TheGildedCage -
Plain, non-carbonated coke syrup is good for that too. Plus, it's tasty.
I don't like soda, so HA!
@ItIsAllGravy -
BESERK BUTTON HAS BEEN PRESSED
Sprite. DUH.
RC Cola erases all before it.
@my_little_niche -
I wish they still made Slice but then some would say that is what Sierra Mist is but I would say they are daft.
@TheGildedCage -
when I have stomach problems is when I drink regular coke
@Sionainne -

Oh man I have only heard of the mixed cocktail rickeys
I love sonic cherry limeade. Just sayin'
@adamswomanlost -
You are lucky to have Sonics. The climate up here sort of prohibits them.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
Yah, I love their drinks! They are fun to go to!
@adamswomanlost -
We have a drive-up here but it's only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day but it is so good although this last year the girls they had working weren't that good but maybe that's because they didn't flirt with me to get tips.

I learned that early on because there had to be no other logical reason.
@carolinavenger -

@maniacsicko -
Don't argue and rec.
@Airustobulous -
No it doesn't. For me, this translates over to politics. When I have two choices in front of me, I usually write in my own name.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
Well, I think it has NOTHING to do with the customer (we are just another body they have to serve, and they're hoping to get $$ from us) and everything to do with them and their job. I don't like either. Give me cherry coke instead.
Yeah... 7-UP.
@fortheloveofblogging -
For me, the Distortion was great almost as good as normal Mountain dew
@NightlyDreams -
Hmm Cherry Coke or Cherry Pepsi...that is another good debate.
@CleteusMaximus -
I can tolerate the diet variety but I don't drink it that often.
rec'd
Diet Sprite, thank you, but with a splash of cranberry juice in it.
@Peridot21 -
Thank you
@Marshall1250 -
Some may say you could get that with a Sierra Mist with their cranberry flavored drink.
@godfatherofgreenbay -
You do and I buy a ton of it. It won't be long and it will disappear off the shelves until next November. Meantime I mix my own.
SPRITE ALL THE WAAYYYYYY!!!
lol
@nattata -
yeah it was an attempt to lighten things around here because well because it was getting really bad
@mZdejavuZ -
Oh man, can't believe you like the Sprite...tsk tsk
@godfatherofgreenbay - Ah, I see.
