Yep, that is the guy. He has made this budget cut proposal and in it he's basically cutting pay of state workers and making them pay more for their provisions and he is also denying collective bargaining rights. So with the sky-rocketing prices of gas and food and wages being lowered Wisconsin has become Egypt. Walker has also promised to send out the national guard to fight protesting. Right now some schools are shutting down because teachers are walking out.

@godfatherofgreenbay - idk who he is... but he doesn't sound like a good guy, from reading your replies ughhhh =/
That's Scott Walker, Mini-Mubarak. He has turned Wisconsin into Egypt. This is insane. I am debating whether or not to join the protest tomorrow but knowing me it'll escalate.
yeah and the funny thing with schools scrambling for money up here, it's always teachers, bus routes, and art programs that get cut and never any sports. But then I guess sports make money for the athletic department. But I wonder if all schools dumped sports and went to a European style where the city has a athletic department if that would benefit schools. People would more than likely still put the sports ahead of academics
oh it totally is. they're all terrified of education cuts....why don't they start cutting sports programs and say we just don't have enough money to keep funding sports, because reading is more important. they'll line up to pay football tax.
and since football is so self-sustaining or at least that's what I've been led to believe, the revenues from the football season should go to the school instead of being invested in brand new equipment. My high school always sends me a letter with a wish list for the booster club and it is always for sports equipment namely for the football team....computers, programs, a blocking dummy...as much as I love football and sacrificed my blood, sweat and yes, tears (real men cry) I could never see giving money for a computer or dummy that would only be used for 3 months of the year.
Wow. I saw even the Guardian is covering all this (I don't normally read the Guardian, I swear, the article was on Google News). They're basically calling it a bellwether of Tea Party politics and wringing their hands fretting about all of America going down this road. Sheesh. Well, I don't know a single Wisconsinite who seems to like this guy, or who feels anything short of hatred. Granted, that's not a scientific study or anything, but that can't be good for him since most people I know don't even normally follow politics, and they sure as hell never comment about it.
