The hurricane hasn’t deterred me…
from posting cats.
My day was great. I went to bed at 5:45AM and woke up at 9. Went to the Farmer’s Market and came home and watched College Football game day. I get a phone call from my aunt asking if I wanted to tag along on a trip to a discount grocery store. I decided to go because I had never been there. I got some great deals and some great cheese. 3 Alarm cheese...jalapenos, habeneros, and some other pepper is in it plus red pepper flakes. I also got a bruscetta cheese that had basil and red pepper and some other ingredients. We then went to an apple orchard. They had free apple cider donuts and apples. I love those donuts but they shouldn’t give them away because a half dozen and dozen were quite pricey. Also you were limited to one free apple but they had two varieties. I couldn’t make up my mind as to which I wanted so I took both. Fuck the rules. They were pretty tasty but I didn’t eat them until I left and when I was done I threw those cores out the window of the car. I am such a criminal. We drove through a small town with a population of about 70. They were having ATV drag races. It was fun watching these kids drag their four wheelers. I came home and watched some high school football and here I am Xanga. LOVE ME! LAVISH ATTENTION UPON ME! SEND ME NUDES (but only if you are 18 and want to help me fight some form of cancer)!

I have been worried about you cheese heads during this hurricane. Very frustrated that the weather channel has not been forthcoming concerning how you all are fairing. They are yammering on and on about New York Whatever. I hope you are okay and are being careful. I heard that if a dolphin lands on your house you aren’t supposed to go see if it’s okay because it’s the hurricane’s way of tricking you into coming outside. So, watch out, kay?
@Hinase - I think my cats felt the earthquake the other day because they spent most of the day huddled together under my lazyboy
@godfatherofgreenbay - I wouldn’t be surprised. Animals are very close to nature….and usually they are the first to feel it moving.

@leaflesstree - mine are weird with water, they will roll around in my shower after I shower and when I start the water they come running to watch and they’ll tolerate getting wet for a little while but if I squirt them with my water bottle they bolt.
@kachino - I should post my cat sleeping next to me although you pretty much get the idea in the photo of her next to my shoe
@godfatherofgreenbay - we had a dog kinda like that. He loved to swim and didn’t mind the rain but he’d run the other way if you even went near the hose.

@adventofreason - It was about 80 here and quite sunny and little to no humidity. It was a great day.

@opticalnoise - when apple season is in full swing I like going to this area where there are like 10 orchards all in a row, it’s about a 20 mile stretch of land and then I hit all the free samples. Oh I get gorged and then one of the big ones has all this food that is on the honor system. They leave out donuts, apple cider (both hot and cold) apple slushies, apple salsa…all free but they do ask you contribute some money but doing that is for suckers. I think the last time I went I ate something like a dozen apples.

Holy crap dude, that Bambi cat one up there just gave me a flashback of this cat we saw at Pesmart when we were picking up more Kitty Caps for Annie last week. I HAVE NEVER seen a cat with such sad eyes in my life! It was like Shrek, Puss In Boots sad! We had to pretty much flee it because if we didn’t we were going to take it home with us…and I just know my folks would LOVE us adding another cat to the mix when we move in with them for a little bit once we do our move to SC. Four is suppose to be our personal cap off limit on cats….we just can’t add more…can’t do it Captain!

@ExposedWrists - I know I have problems when I see strays or cats for sale. I want more but I think 2 is enough for me. I did see a place the other day that had a box in front of their house with a sign that said “free kittens” but I didn’t stop because I knew I’d want one and my heart would be broken if I didn’t come back with one. Oh and yes, they are littermates. I always found it odd because one is long hair and the other is short hair and they have such different behaviors. but they pretty much have a lot of the same idiosyncrasies and spot patterns.
I hate to be the one to tell you but one of those pictures is actually a dane cook joke… hahahaha
also, I love the ones of that cat in the tie, hell, I love them all! hahaha
