Eating Beaver
#caturday The Badgers sure beat up Oregon State. $10 bottomless beer...$7 all you can eat hot wings...a free shot each time the Badgers scored...god I love this state. Too bad I spent that much money. A friend told me a bar closer to my house had all you can eat appetizers for $5 and all you can drink beer for $5. Anyway I'm excited for this season.
And now to your regularly scheduled cat photos.
OK, so what is the connection between the female genetalia and the beaver? I know I used the title to garner traffic but I never quite got the connection. When I was in high school, I played against a team that was known as the Beavers. We would sit in the locker room before the game screaming, "We're gonna eat some beaver meat." We beat them all of my years there. Anyway, I'm just a celibate old man so I don't know all the slang saying the kids toss around now a days. Is it because beavers like to chew on wood? OK back to basking in the glory of another Badger win.

I'm not sure what the connection is. Been wondering that myself, actually.
Your wish is my command, oh kingly one . . .

In other news, happy Caturday. And I'm bored. That is all.
heheheh there is an entendre available for everyone.
There was something I wanted to say, but the Butterfly of Kitty Cuteness made my brain all squishy and now I forgots.
This is coincidental. I saw the movie
The Beaver
, Friday night. It's probably a vagina dentata allusion. You got wood? She'll chew you up. Man eater. The last two photos of your cats are the best ever, yet!
I don't get the reference either. Sometimes this kind of slang goes over my head too. Lol I'm just too old to keep up sometimes.
Cat/kitten again!?!? I think you really, really have unfinished business with cat and kitten.
why are there never any linguists around when you need them?
yeah, why is there never a cunning linguist around when you need one?
nice pic

haha your face when you discovered candles. XD
my cat follows the arrow on my computer...but that cats expression is awesome.
kitties!!!!
I was going to come up with an intelligent comment but the cuteness...overload...yay for caturday.
That 'die in a fire' cat looks just like Lily Tomlin.
Back in the olden days, vajayjays were hairy and smelled like fish. Strictly clinically speaking. Personally, I still prefer the retro look. It is more in keeping, I think, with Caturday.
raaaaar love it
eh Oregon, sort of like playing Minnesota without the EMTs taking the coach off the field.
I need to take photos of cats for a living. I could be really happy if that was my only job description.
@bloggicus_maximus - I am weird about that with sexual slang terms. I just like knowing how things get their names.
@adventofreason - Thanks for the article. I guess that answers that and my friend's explanation that fur trappers in this area started using the term because they only had their furs and no women may be greatly exaggerated.
@starmanjones - oh yes, it's so true.
@ZombieMom_Speaks - yeah butterfly cats tend to do that.
@sleekpeek - I had that feeling too. I actually want to see that movie because they are saying it's a new Mel Gibson but then anything is new Mel Gibson after what he did the past few years.
@Hinase - I like knowing the origins of words and that one has always stumped me.
@RestlessButterfly - not really, I just like cats.
@Zissu25 - because this is Xanga.
@James2012 - @dmcx2010 - thank you
@StrawberrySunrises - funny story...my cats belonged to a friend. They gave them to me after their dog started getting violent with them. Anyway they had a birthday party for my friend and while we were in their livingroom enjoying cake we started to smell a weird burning smell and then Kiki came running out of the guestroom with her tail on fire. She probably brushed up against a lit candle. Thankfully all she had was burnt fur and her tail still has a spot where the fur is pretty rough.
@leaflesstree - glad you enjoyed and could manage those few words. I sometimes have to shield my eyes when I post so I don't start drooling.
@distractedbyzombies - oh wow, it does. Yeah the retro look is pretty nice once in awhile especially after seeing modern porn where the actresses follow a scorched earth policy. I can't remember if it was a movie or a show where a guy talked about how he didn't like watching porn because it made him feel like a pedophile.
@ElevenStones - I couldn't help but laugh at that. I felt sorry for the Golden Squirrels because I thought their coach had the perfect name for a football coach.
@LadyofWaters - Cat photographer...it may also be one of the most difficult jobs in the world.
@godfatherofgreenbay - ha, yeah. I heard that, too. Can't remember where.
