Terrible Tattoo Thursday
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to do this because I was having too much "fun" figuring out this Tumblr thing. I decided to start one because I wanted to keep the name and I got it. Yay me.

I think that one of the things I like about the tattoo posts, besides the fact that they make me snicker, is that I realize that no matter how dumb I am and how far down the loser path I am, I am not as far gone as these morons.

Although I'd never get a tattoo, I actually kind of liked the Star Trek one...maybe that's just because I like Star Trek, and not because I think covering your back with pictures of actors playing fictional characters that will be there the rest of your life is a good thing. I wonder if they will age as he does....

So, this one time I had a huge huge huge crush on a boy when I was in the 9th grade and he seemed so cool and dressed in all black and he was, you know, like so artistic and shit.
And then he found me on myspace around 2008ish and I discovered that not only was he really a massive tool in disguise, but he was a "tattoo" artist. All of his tattoos looked like your Terrible Tattoo posts.

@Da__Vinci - back when I was reading Thompson heavily I considered getting the gonzo tattoo but then it probably would've killed me.
@leaflesstree - I actually have 4 vcrs but only 2 are hooked up. I bought a few because you can't get them at stores anymore, well at least not for under $200.
@comet555 - I'm sure that in a generation or two, tattoos will be taboo and there will be great sociological studies done as to why and my site will be used as evidence.
@ZombieMom_Speaks - I think the reason why I hate Jimmy Buffett is because when I was in college everyone seemed to love the guy and then I'd go to bars and hear Jimmy Buffett. He had maybe two or three memorable songs and I can't believe he's had this longevity on just those songs. I actually have been trying to find that girl...I am so alone.

@Cestovatelka - Yeah, I'm always freaked out by missing digits. It seems like most farmers in these parts that aren't Amish have at least one missing finger. There's a guy at my church that only has 3 on each hand.
@roscoes_farm - I just have to say the Tumblr has been quite interesting.
@ArmyWife4Life2007 - no, I actually like that one too. See the name of the post is actually a misnomer. I think by saying "terrible" it gets people to comment by saying they like one...shh...that's my psychological warfare against Xanga.
@pinktiger335 - I'm reminded why I don't get tattoos by my skin. I am so allergic to things and am in fact allergic to the inks. I guess that is what happens when a person has chicken pox 3 times.
@musicmom60 - You know I was just watching Star Trek because the Badgers were making me nervous. It was the very first episode. I have this channel called MeTV and it's all old school shows. They just started airing Star Trek. It's such a great station. I get home from church and watch an hour of Happy Days followed by an hour of Laverne and Shirley.

What's so weird about being able to name Pac-Man, Mario, Kirby, Link and Megaman? It's not like it's a tattoo of some relatively obscure videogame character like Sabu. Or any of the characters from the game Tattoo Assassins... Though, admittedly, Sabu would make for a more interesting tattoo, and tattoos of tattoo assassin characters would be somewhat meta.
@Lakakalo - well casual fans might not know as well as younger gamers...I think but then I date myself when I say I played Custer's Revenge.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Custer's Revenge...? HEH. My first videogame obsession was River Raid. Dear lord... I was around when that used to be state of the art... and games like Boxing & Pole Position were "realistic simulations"... :'C
