  • You Know What Grinds My Gears?

    #caturday I stay up late last night and I have to get up early today.  I decide to go hunting.  Get up at 4 and drive up to my cousin's farm and they're all out so I don't want to go walking in the woods without letting them know I'm there.  I wait around and of course it starts raining and my asthma starts acting up so I head in.  No deer yet.  Maybe later this week.  I get home and rest and then I go out.  I'm seeing all these other hunters registering their deer and it was amazing how many deer were harvested this year.  I went out and saw this girl that I've wanted to ask out for some time but because I have little confidence so anyway there's this girl and we're talking and it's going good and I get ready to ask and then out of nowhere this guy walks by and I stopped because I saw it in her face.  Her jaw drops and she checks this guy out from head to toe.  Then came the blush and the smile.  "What was it you wanted to ask?" "Nothing.  I'll talk to you later."  Nothing like trying to ask someone out and they check out another person to ruin your day.  Then a little kid looked at me and asked his mom, "Is that Santa?"  It sucks to be fat during the holidays.






















    Well cats made things better for now.

  • Somewhere deep in the bowels of my external hard drive I have a picture of one of my old cats in front of the TV like that. He loved basketball. It was fun to watch his little head go back and forth when guys ran up and down the court. Good times.

    Whenever you get cockblocked by a girl checking out another dude, check him out with her jokingly. It gets rid of the awkward while simultaneously endearing you to her because you got rid of the awkward.

Yes, protect your heart, but always show how much she means to you in this moment in time (in an unstalk-y way, of course). She will appreciate you. I wish I could wave my arms with my invisible magic wands and make it all work out.  You are a beautiful person! You deserve it to work out (bag that deer?). :)

    @xplorrn - I didn't get into The Clash until I was out of college.  A friend loved them and he'd play their stuff and then some of Joe Strummer's solo work.  That last album he released was so good.

    @JerusalemHill - that's so true although I think the only thing my mom ever said about girls was "Don't touch them or you'll be sorry"

    @promisesunshine - lectures are fun, well at least when I lecture I try to do it in an accent and then switch between accents just to keep my listeners on their toes.

    @cja1976 - yep, I've moved on, it's just that I haven't found an object of affection although I do suffer from the xanga crushes

    @Cestovatelka - I couldn't believe how many cats look like Hitler.  I think the Nazis did experiments to make the cats have that spot to make them look like Der Führer.

    @leaflesstree - I will have to remember to do that next time.
    pss...let's keep this a secret...I don't see why people think John Lennon is attractive.

    @ShadesOfWynter - yeah my cats always put a smile on my face except when they rip the carpet off my stairs or chew my earphones making it so they are useless.

    No deer, yet.  Maybe I get one and take the fresh heart to her and eat it in front of her.  That should win her over.

    @Peridot21 - yeah, I try not to use the flash around them but I don't use a lot of light in my house so I have to use flash because they're more active at night.  My house is old and was built to make use of the daylight.

    That Lua, she watches TV quite a bit.

    @haloed - it's amazing how cats can sense when you have a bad day and I know when I'm not having a stellar day, my cats usually find me and lay on me or next to me and start purring and that puts me at ease.

  • @Aloysius_son - I was thinking I would get a deer, cut out the heart, take it to the girl and then eat it uncooked in front of her.  She will see me as a virile warrior and want to have my babies.

  • Gsheeesh, I suppose so, if she were a lover of deer spirits; after you eat the heart, she can then channel the deer by eating you. :) Never complain! :)

  • @leaflesstree - when I'm in high schools I see a lot of Beatles stuff because that's what is cool as deemed by Target and these kids just idolize them.  I've heard girls talk about how attractive Lennon is.  I don't get it.
