Hype
#caturday Well my cats were weird today. They spent the majority of the day sleeping next to a radiator. I think they do that as a way to deal with the pain from their shots. They acted all mopey and when I tried to move them they'd walk right back to the radiators. About two hours ago one came out and laid on me and then an hour ago the other came out and demanded petting and then a half hour ago they started chasing each other so I guess they are back normal. I'm bad at transitions so enjoy.

yeah, my new apartment needs to allow pets. having so much cuteness around on a regular basis will do wonders for my emotional state. can't be grumpy when kitties are around.
Why do cats love to go out in all weathers but like to snuggle up next to a radiator too? They seem to love the cold and the heat!

yeah something about shots make cats like that. my cat gets all sleepy. he hides in my bedroom and sleep.

I want you to know that thanks to you and tumblr, I am feeling the absolute need to get some asshat of a cat. I am allergic to them and they are pretty much jerks, but I need one. Thanks a helluva lot.

@spinner_mom - I love going to the McDonald's closest to me after midnight because that's when they start serving breakfast plus their regular menu. It's like food nirvana. Did you know that McDonald's has secret menu items? I've ordered a Chicken and Waffles and it's a McChicken with the griddle cakes as the bun. Also there's the Land, Sea, and Air sandwich which has a beef patty, chicken patty, and filet-o-fish on one sandwich.
@AdamsWomanFell - the people who had Kiki and Lua before I did took that photo of Kiki in the beer box. Those two love being in boxes. Christmas will be fun for them because I have a few boxes of stuff possibly coming my way.

@leaflesstree - I was upset that my last place didn't allow pets. I almost thought of getting a cat or dog for the classroom but that wouldn't work and so many kids were allergic.
@beauty_is_truths_smile - When it was 100F my cats would hide in the places where I thought it would be hottest and they got really scared when I put floor fans down. They would run on their bellies so they wouldn't get the air blowing on them.
@raspberryjade - My bearded cat was pouting or looked like it a few minutes ago because my other cat was on my desk and I was scratching her head. Then Kiki jumped off and Lua jumped up for her head scratching.
@Peridot21 - I've learned not to make any titles that have to do with the Xanga drama du jour because once during your absence I posted on with a topic mimicking one that had been going around all weekend and popping up over and over again through recs and comment recs. Well there were like 3 comments when I logged off and then Sunday afternoon I signed on and saw 100+ comments, mostly all because of arguments.
@StrawberrySunrises - My vet says they are either feeling pain or have been traumatized. That sort of makes me feel bad but I guess I'd rather them be all mopey and depressed than catching rabies. Christmas is the best time of the year for my cats because that's when I have more boxes.

@adventofreason - The cats in the shelters wanted you to know that there are pills to help with those allergies and you can adopt as many as possible.

@godfatherofgreenbay - I'll be seeing The Sam tomorrow. Not sure if they are open this Saturday because it will be Christmas Eve. I'll find out. They'll probably let us sneak in for a visit anyway. They are pretty cool folks like that .

I plan on sitting in the Dells movie theater. Now I just hope something decent will be playing. I was thinking of spending it with my parents but I don't think I can spend any more time with them for a couple of weeks.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Ok there is just no way I could order a Land Sea and Air burger unless I was really really really hungry and the price was cheaper than the three sandwiches and I'd get a loaf of bread and separate the patties for three different meals.
The Chicken and Waffles sounds good though. How lucky to be living in a modern city that has a 24 hour McD's. I live in the boonies and the only thing that's open 24 hours is Subway and Walgreens. Blah!
@spinner_mom - well that McDonald's is about 20 miles away. I have a Subway and a Dollar General in this town but they usually close at 10 or earlier depending on business.
