     because i'm a jerk, it was notably bad weather in d-town when i came in being the worst snow in seventy=three years... i know d-j will punish me as in cringe but it was indeed "apic" something notable about the voyager missions occured I forget,what would later be a hit was billy preston's "nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin-you gotta have somethin...if you want to be with me" mash of course all in the family,  I've this sad tale to tell that pong? might have been out but my day largely preceeds "videogames" but is for those of pin ball skill! - I think amc's were still made...spot the running amc product :D - ford baby by golly if just barely. oh and "down and dirty duck" for the film or more conventially "Blazzing saddles"

  • Nice details! Plus you get even more coolness points for mentioning the 1.98 Beauty Show. Remember the chick who taught her goldfish to chase a pencil around the bowl? I think she won.

  • @starmanjones - I was fearful when I did the research that video games weren't yet available

    @Wait_by_Moonlight - do you know how much fun it is to go to Sparta and scream "THIS IS SPARTA!" especially when you're outside a nursing home where your father's aunt resides and that nursing home is a few blocks from a giant statue of a guy on a velocipede named Ben Bikin because Sparta happens to be the bicycling capital of America and also the hometown of an astronaut.  SPARTA!

    @ZombieMom_Speaks - I haven't seen many episodes of that show but I've been finding them in bits in pieces throughout the net.  I remember GSN did a special of some of the greatest game shows ever and that made the list plus RIP TAYLOR IS AWESOME!

    @Saridactyl - Someone I knew when I was a kid had one that they only drove in summer because they actually did the conversion to make the back into a pool.

    @spinner_mom - I was worried that I wouldn't find any video games from my year but thankfully there was Pacman.  I think this was meant for young'uns.
    My dad got sick of me screaming "This is Sparta" every 30 seconds or every time I saw someone walking on the streets.

    @whyzat - wow, that's cool, I wonder if there's video footage of that

    @comet555 - yeah, I felt really old but I had no clue Airplane was such a "new" movie.  I thought it was made in the 70s...ugh.

    @DivaJyoti - I think it was their attempt at country music because that was around the time when country was mainstream and cool

    @dingus6 - I do feel young but not in the mornings when all my bones snap and crackle and my joints pop

    @Peridot21 - NO...it made me feel old.  I was scared I wouldn't be able to find a video game.  The music one was pretty cool though.

    @raspberryjade - I only included The Shining because of my Celebrity Round Up.  It's been ages since I've seen it.  I was probably in college.

  • Cool survey much better than a previous one I read where it asked what object is to your left etc.  I think you maybe younger than me.  

  • @LadyofWaters - hahaha...I have a few of those "object to your left or right" questions for homework assignments but I'm not sure if I'll post them.

  • Gee whiz, Beaver, you're a youngster!  There were no video games the year I was born.  Lake Powell was filled to capacity for the first time the year you were born.
