  • Deep Conversations With A Deranged Dreamer

So today was pretty crappy.  It all started off with not being able to sleep last night because as owner of the Green Bay Packers I had dread over how my team would perform.  It was met.  I had a lot going on today with church and meetings.  It was the yearly meeting where we settle the budget.  The last couple of years that I’ve been on the council these meetings have been rough.  Luckily those people that turn the meetings into shitstorms weren’t there but it was still so long and drawn out.  Anyway I get home and watch Contagion, pretty good movie, and then Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.  Then it was game time.  They looked horrible but the one thing that really impressed me was how Joe Philbin showing up for the game.  Maybe that’s why the Packers were flat.  I have no clue but it took a lot of balls to go out there and coach a game after your son is found dead, floating in a river in Wisconsin at the hands of a possible serial killer.  See the media isn’t talking about it but there’s a serial killer in Wisconsin and the Midwest.  We call him the I90 killer or the Smiley Face killer or the Mississippi Madman.  Going back to the mid to late 90′s there have been at least 40 murders of college aged males in 11 different states.  All the males were described as good looking, leaving parties or bars after drinking, white, popular, and athletic.  All the murders have happened within a 50 mile radius of I90 and people investigating have found smiley faces near places where they suspect the bodies have been dumped in the water.  The murders started when I was finishing up high school and they were happening in the town where I attended high school.  I can remember being in that area and we’d drink and people would tell us not to leave the house otherwise the Mississippi Madman would get us.  I know some have written off all these deaths as being alcohol related drownings but how do you explain a dozen alcohol related drownings at the same point in the same city?  It’s just really creepy and I think the police don’t want to admit they have a serial killer or group of killers on their hands.  But more people are going to die and they will have to live with that blood on their conscience.

The Bears and Vikings still suck.

    That “G” stands for “glorious”.

Next time you describe your team as “we”, you best be a player or an owner.  I can say “we” because I am an NFL team owner.

I thought I’d post this photo of my cat in case you wondered what a gross of casino playing cards looked like.

Have you ever noticed how Michael Cera looks like Hitler’s mom?  Maybe Cera is descended from Hitler.  That could explain his acting ability.

Say what you will about poor life decisions but this guy will be laughing last when the Three Stooges attack.

She had to take up stripping because she was short on cash.

I think I’m heading to Coachella this year especially if a handful of talentless well connected fucks are playing.

    Have a nice night.

  • allllllrighty then… well

Well those piercings… i don’t even have words for that

    or that short stripper, haha

  • Sorry you’re down, man.  That serial murderer thing is awful.  Every time I hear something like that, it makes me think of Steven King’s novel “The Dead Zone”.  I don’t know why, it just does.  I hope things look up soon.

  • Sorry you’re on a bummer. Sounds like you have the right to be with a nutjob running around killing people. At first I thought you were talking about Jesperson but then I remembered he’s long since been identified and imprisoned. That’s the difference between smiley and happy, I suppose.

I kid about the Ravens, but really I haven’t followed football in a long time (though the Ravens were my team of choice – my father, the Redskins fan, was horrified). May as well cheer on the Packers. Do they have any games left this season?

  • that vid is pretty twisted – but i certainly wouldn’t deny the potential connections – gruesome.  and the piercings – wow, if my kid came home looking like that – i’d, i’d –
i’d know either i, myself was a complete and utter fuck-up and failure as a parent – or the wiring in my kid is completely faulty.

  • I hope the kid with the piercings never needs glasses or contacts, or eye surgery, or to see very well…

  • there was a lifetime movie… something about the I90 killer… maybe it was a different one, but there were a bunch of murders that all took place only a few miles off exits of that one highway… I think they were targeting women, though (duh, it was on lifetime, the channel designed to make women afraid of men).

and I think its absolutely hilarious how much michael cera looks like hitler’s mom…. lmao

  • wow my dad said there was a death but not sure what was. that is horrible. i can definitely understand and that takes a lot for that coach to even show up. :/

oh my god what is that guy thinking to do that to his face. :O

  • i had no idea about Philbin’s son, that is awful… and so is the serial killer thing.. i thought they caught that smiley face guy, but i guess not… or maybe there’s more than one, idk…

  • And you have a gross of casino playing cards, because…?

  • Hitler’s mom.  It had to be Hitler’s mom.  Scott Pilgrim will never be the same.

And, er, are you familiar with the old saying “You can’t spell owner without an ‘Ow!’”?

  • I hope you didn’t drink too much last night….

So, do you have a gross of playing cards so that you can play 144 games of 52 pickup all in a row?

  •  hop you chear up

  • How can someone stand doing that to their face with the bars and whatnot?  Ouch!

  • Sorry for the short comment before. Someone started screaming and I figured better short than nothing.

  • College professor maybe?
If the killer has a nickname how can the cops ignore it?

  •  I have no clue but it took a lot of balls to go out there and coach a game after your son is found dead, floating in a river in Wisconsin at the hands of a possible serial killer.
Oh my fucking GOD! I’d give the guy a pass just because he found out that about that..it’s difficult to work through something like that. Shit.

And having a serial murderer around your area is creepy for sure and then the whole thing about those other murders you heard about in high school. I find it creepy myself. But if only the pictures showed up. Oh xanga, why won’t you work?

  • @Twiztidsilverskull - piercings are fine by me but that’s a bit too much

@adventofreason - oh well I guess in this day and age there’s no such thing as a sports dynasty, the serial killer may not be true but looking at all the deaths it’s sort of hard to ignore.

@ZombieMom_Speaks - oh well, it’s only a football game, there’s more important things in life like my wife and kids…wait, no football was all I had.
It’s just so creepy how all those guys died in that town all found in about the same place.  I remember the last one and it just tore the area apart.  We’re sick of all of this.  They had a camera at the last place he was seen and it looks like he got into a car.  So creepy.

@xplorrn - yeah, next time you go through La Crosse go through the downtown area specifically 3rd street and realize that it’s a Guinness holder for most bars on one single street and then there’s another Guinness record for the world’s largest 6 pack on that same street.  Of course the Mississippi is just 3 blocks away.  Also there’s Riverside Park…could be all a coincidence but it’s just too much to be one.

@whyzat - oh man, I had my eyebrow pierced and that was painful enough the first time I took out the piercing

@raspberryjade - I have heard that there was a potential movie about it so maybe that could be it but it’s changed to women because people are more concerned when women wind up dead.  Just look at Jeffery Dahmer and how one of his underage boy victims escaped and the police gave the boy back to Dahmer because they figured it was a gay lover’s spat.

@StrawberrySunrises - Yeah I really feel for the guy, I couldn’t imagine going to work if one of my kids died like that.

@Peridot21 - I think that may have been one of the reasons why they were off their game.  They were trying too hard to win for that guy and it just didn’t work out.

@carolinavenger - well I needed gifts for a luncheon at my church so my dad works at a casino and I ask if I can get some cards thinking I’d get a dozen or so and he gives me that box filled with cards.  I still have some.  I was thinking of giving them out to Xangans but postage would probably be pretty high.

@Lakakalo - Scott Hitler is more like it.  I haven’t seen that movie, is it any good?
Well now I’m familiar with that saying.

@leaflesstree - actually I had two beers.  I’m freaked out by a study recently released that said that binge drinking is drinking 5 or more drinks at a single setting and that 25% of adults who drink in WI binge drink.  I was out just last weekend and I had 4 drinks.  I thought nothing of it because I had paced myself and I wasn’t drunk or anything.  Oh well, we all gotta die some way but I don’t think I have to worry about the Mississippi Mad Man
No, I was going to give them out as gifts at a thing at my church but I still have so many left.  I thought about giving them out as prizes on Xanga but I think the postage would be sky high.

@James2012 - yeah, it’s only a game and there’s next year but it seemed like THIS was the year to dominate.

@hesacontradiction - I had my eyebrow pierced but that is way too much.

@distractedbyzombies - I love bringing out the “sanctified shit” comments.  It makes me feel I am using Xanga to the best of my abilities.

@LadyofWaters - actually these guys that were working on the case not sanctioned by the police think they found the killer and he’s a priest who teaches at a college and they said the priest always traveled on the highway at the times of the deaths because he’d go between different Catholic schools and there is a Catholic school in that town where I went to school.  I think the cops ignore it because they don’t want to look like fools.

@Hinase - yeah I still can’t believe it, I think he may have rushed to get out there to coach but that’s me speaking, I don’t think I’d be able to function if I lost a child that way.
Yeah Xanga really is weird tonight.  I think it has something to do with either the launch of the iPhone app and work on the Android app or they are gearing up for something with the SOPA protests tomorrow.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - I don’t think I could either. I’ve lost family members and boy was it so hard to function..I can’t imagine his pain, I really can’t.

It might be. I thought my browser was being funny but it’s all over the place. I wonder if xanga is doing anything for the SOPA protests tomorrow…

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - Scott Pilgrim has it’s moments.  I liked how it paid homage to old school videogames, and it is funny, but the story could’ve used a little more work.

  • @Hinase - well I’m pretty certain they aren’t and all that was wrong last night was a result of the iPhone app launch.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - You’d think with this knowledge being so out there they’d take it seriously and arrest him if there was enough evidence.

  • @godfatherofgreenbay - I see. Still it’s crazy. I hope nothing happens when they launch the android version of the app.
