@demonicsinner - thank you, yeah I don't get how Tumblr is so popular because there is little interaction.  It's just sharing photos.  Very rarely do I see what I'd consider actual blogging.

@TheSutraDude - thanks, I should try mentioning it.  I know the last couple of years I didn't really mention and people did birthday posts for me.  It was odd.
Honestly I think Santorum is trying to be this election's Palin.  She said provocative things just to get people to support her.  There's nothing he says that's productive.  I have yet to meet anyone who supports Santorum.  I often wonder if he's just a figment of the campaign's imagination or someone there to keep Paul away.

@sexymamabear - thank you, well my birthday was on Monday and it was pretty good because everything was shut down and it was relaxing. 

@raspberryjade - yeah I'm terrible with email so that is why I didn't get back to you right away.  I'll have to start a database of my own for when people have their birthdays.  Maybe I'll get around to that one of these days.
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head with Tumblr.  I think people who use it have developed such short attention spans.  They can look at something for a couple seconds and then if they like it they click reblog and if they don't then they keep scrolling.  So impersonal.

@carolinavenger - I have yet to meet a Santorum supporter or at least someone who admits to it.  The scary thing is, I think that Santorum would do pretty good because he'd get a lot of crazy supporters i.e. the Tea Party.  He's doing exactly like what Palin did.  Make assumptions about Obama's terrorism and religion and subtle racist comments...basically saying nothing productive just provocative.
