@sleekpunk - One of my cats loves plain old pasta.  She also loves black olives.  The other loves graham crackers and butter and whipped cream.  They are so weird.

@Marica0701 - yeah I've always been intrigued by cats who take to our vices.  One of mine loves sniffing my beer and liquor bottles but she doesn't lick them that I've seen.  I think what initially drew me to American Gods was that a small but important part was set in my neck of the woods.  It's a great read.  I'm glad to hear HBO is going to try to do a series on it.

@Erika_Steele - maybe my cat who enjoys black olives a little too much will have to join him in human food rehab.

@starmanjones - I bought a pack of seeds yesterday.  It was catnip.  I was intrigued because it had a recipe for cookies using catnip.

@Super_Rob_of_the_Sky - Kiki got into the catnip last night and for about a half hour her eyes were so huge and were like bulging out of her head and then the rest of the night she just rolled around in the place where she got into the catnip.  She's an addict.

@Grannys_Place - and people think I'm joking about Tumblr...oops

@theKisSilent - that would be a more adorable commercial than that one lady on my TV all the time

@adamswomanback - well I'm OK, the ulcers on top of everything else about made me not want to leave my bed but after trying an over the counter treatment I'm feeling so much better.

@leaflesstree - my cats have not caught the red dot yet but they have caught some of the other toys I play with them with like this bird on a pole.  They've snuck into my bathroom and trot around the house carrying it in their mouth.  I put the laser point in a plastic bag and left it out but had to put it in a drawer because they sat there the first night clawing and biting the bag because they wanted that laser pointer.

@nov_way - thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed, I know a lot of people like to give cats milk but when they are adults it makes them sick and gives them really nasty diarrhea.

@Tallman - there's a gray stray around my neighborhood and the funniest thing it does is flops itself down right in front of my neighbor's dog kennel.  The dog goes nuts barking at that cat and all the cat does is lay there and pretend it's asleep.
