Monday Mash-Up Madness
Here's another batch of mash-ups for you my pretties.
This mash-up features "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen and "Brass Monkey" by The Beastie Boys. "Brass Monkey" is such a fun song but I think the best form of Brass Monkey is the drink. You mix equal parts vodka, rum, and orange juice. Oh well the song pays homage to the drink and not the movie from 1948.
You know this Ke$ha has been really growing on me. I don't know why. This one takes her song "Tik Tok" and mashes it with another crazy broad's song, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. I think this may be why Ke$ha is so odd...
This is my WTF Mash-Up of the Week...I should really make that a regular feature. It takes "Hustler Musik" by Lil Wayne...or it said Weezy but even though I have turned my back on mainstream rap I know that is Lil Wayne even though I know the only Weezy is Louise Jefferson...yeah, what you gonna do about that Lil Wayne? OK so my rapper posturing aside..."Hustler Musik" is mashed with the theme song from The Office as performed by the Scrantones. One of my favorite Office quotes is in this song: Count Choculitis….Why did you write that down, Jim? Is it because you know I love Count Chocula?
Oh, Dwight, you so crazy!Who wants to see one of my commutes? Well you can see part of it by watching these videos. I randomly found them while surfing around youtube. I think these videos are fairly cool because they are from a video camera that was mounted on a motorcycle.
Have a great day! I love you....ok that was a little too soon...I really like you.

I like the kesha and cyndi one better. Never was much of a Queen fan..

lol, i didn't read the previous comment before i posted mine. i swear!
those videos are awesome... where is Wildcat Mountain? what part of the state?

I hope this works but here is a link to Google Maps. In the first video, at about the 1 second mark, look at the red barn. To the left there is a building, that is the vet's office where I take my cats.

It's weird saying this but that Cyndi Lauper song is a classic and I think it will pass on through the ages and still be played 25 years from now.

I am always amazed when I hear all these young kids these days love Queen. I haven't found the connection. I know a lot of my friends became fans after Wayne's World.
I love you too... erm like you too! lol
Kesha's voice is quite unique.
OH man, that office and lil wayne mashup is something! LOL! Wow! The Ke$ha and Cyndi Lauper one is pretty cool.

I may have to do some work on the Office one and insert more Dwight quotes because he is a true hustla.
@nattata -
Yes, Kesha is quite an interesting person. She wears a piece of her placenta in a necklace. There are other rumors about her but I think they are just rumors. Oh and for the round-up this week she has started talking to a mannequin head that she claims is her friend.

I should mention that some of that area is Amish country but they don't live on that highway but on the side roads.

Eww. lol
I really liked the Ke$sha/Cindy Lauper mash-up. I think I have way too many covers of her song, Tik Tok, I like them a lot better than the original. You make your own mash-ups, right?

I wish I could take credit for these but no, I don't make them. I find them surfing around the web. I go here, here(when they update), and here. Plus I have found many on Limewire and I haven't even posted ones I made a long time ago. Oh and check out Party Ben, DJ Schmoli, and Freelance Hellraiser.
@godfatherofgreenbay - yep, the link worked... and it's not too far from where my parents lake house is in Minocqua (i think i've mentioned this to you before... ) ...what, maybe like 3 hours or something... cool! =)
@godfatherofgreenbay - ...and in all the years i've been going to the northwoods, i had no idea that there were Amish there, anywhere... jeez lol
@Peridot21 -
The Amish around where I live are the hardcore ultra-conservative Amish. They don't even give their children that chance to see what life in the non-Amish world is like. Oh yeah, Minocqua...a guy near me had an offer to be a minister at a Lutheran school up there. My family had a lake front property over in Eagle River.
@godfatherofgreenbay - i know Eagle River... it's not real close by (and i don't think i've actually been there)... but that's where the news is broadcast from for us... small world, as they say
@Peridot21 -
But I live way far away from Minocqua or Eagle River. I'm down by the Dells.
